The Comics Podcast

Hello, and welcome to another episode of The Comics Podcast! This week, Jean, Chad, and Alex talk that new Fantastic Beasts movie (spoiler free though), working at libraries, and some other nonsense I forget. After that it's quite a few comic books with Justice League: Dark, Days of Hate, Sukeban Turbo, Middlewest, Batman, and Night Moves!

It's a fun time had by all.

On this week's non Speed Racer episode, Chad, Alex, and Jean-luc talk about Kid Rock, Detective Pikachu, and a bunch of other nonsense I cannot remember because I edited this like 12 hours ago and have better things to retain in my noggin. I also Sunday drank, so that's fun.

Anyhow, we do chat comic books! There's Wonder Woman, Plastic Man, Mr. Miracle, Bitter Root, Infinite Dark, Life is Strange, Gideon Falls, Murder Falcon, and Catwoman. What a mouthful if you say that really fast and with your mouth full.

Follow us @ComicsPodcast and do fun stuff.

On this week's special episode, Chad, Jean-luc, and Alex talk about one of the best movies ever made ever: SPEED RACER! He's a demon on wheels, you know. Also, Rex Racer is Racer X. Or is it Racer Rex? Either way, it's fun.

But before the movie we do chat some fun stuff, like Jean-luc kicking butt at a Magic the Gathering tournament and Chad going to an art museum. Also comic books, such as Farm Hand, Batman, some Wayward Rabbits thing, Dead Rabbit, Crowded, and Green Lantern! It's an action packed episode and fun for the whole family.

On this week's apology, we had troubles getting together for Speed Racer, so we all recorded seperate chunks and stitched them together into what is the podcast equivalent of a human centipede. Chad talks comic books--Wayward, Shanghai Red, Cloud Hotel, Sonic, and Man Eaters--Jean-luc walks you through some of his favorite albums, and Alex presents a very special Yu Gi Oh treat.

It's a bit rambly and a bit silly, but you either listen to this or the hobo sitting next to you on the bus. He doesn't have a duel disc either. If you duel him, it's the ol fashioned way, with heroin needles and fisticuffs. What do you choose?

On this week's nonsense, Alex is out sick, Chad got bit by a mean ol' pupper, and Jean-luc would rather go to an MTG touranment than see live music. He's a NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD! Also, he has the world's worst take on Sonic games, Chad eats year-old candy and doesn't vomit, and then comic books show up at some point out of a personal obligation to all of you. This week it's Harley Quinn, Justice League, Wonderwoman, Redneck, Cold Spots, Lodger, and Days of Hate.

On this week's episode, Chad complains about editing books, Jean-luc saw some Nine Inch Nails, and Alex turned 22! Happy birthday, Alex! Also there might be some furry porn stuff in here; I can't remember if I cut it or not. Also also, check out Shylmagoghnar. Super cool band.

Anyhow, for comics it's Batman, Justice League: Dark, Exorsisters, Cemetary Beach, and at least one more that I forget.

Oh, and we review ice cream.

On this week's episode of episodes, Jean-luc saw Venom! Do you want to hear what that Venom was like? Then tune in! Also we talk Bionicle, memes, Taco Bell, and Riverdale. That show is back, I guess. After that it's comic books, where we hit up Plastic Man, Farmhand, Outpost Zero, Infinite Dark, Catwoman, Murder Falcon, and more! Lots of stuff this week! I think I'm forgetting things.

Oh. Chad and Alex are here too. It's not just Jean-luc. That would be terrifying.

On this week's nonsense, Chad saw The Predator, Jean-luc saw Assassination Nation, and Alex listens to both talk about live music. You like Wintersun? I hope so, because you're in for about six minutes of "holy crap Wintersun are the best!" After that it's comic books with Batman, Nightwing, Doomsday Clock, Blackbird, Delievery Boys, Eauthonauts, and Dead Rabbit. Most of those comics are bad. Find out which on Dragonball Z!

On this week's episode, Alex, Chad, and Jean-luc talk that movie Thuroughbreds and then a bunch of comics! It's Justice League: Dark, Batman State of Fear, Heroes in Criss, Wayward, Cold Spots, and maybe a bit of some other stuff I can't remember. Redneck gets a mention! Yes, we talk that one. Some more too. The episode gets odd and then ends abruptly. I was drunk. I was proud. I was invincible, and I was loud.

On this week's joyful experience of joy, Chad, Jean-luc, and Alex spend many minutes talking about Batman's penis. It is everything you want and more in a conversation about Batman's penis. After that, it's more Batman, Mr. Miracle, The Burnouts, Sonic, The Wild Storm, and some IDW #1 I can't remember the name of.

Cheers!
