The comiXologist podcast!

The wheel of Comixology cohosts turns once again and this week we talk shop with Kevin the keen.  He brings us a fresh new dose of comic book news, fills us in on who's in and who's out in Walking Dead and who's dead and who's alive in Generation Lost.  Then we take a a look at the new blood on Batman and Robin, visit their counterparts across the pond in Knight and Squire, and then for something completely different, we globe-trot with Fables' own superspy, Cinderella!

Greg Pak joins us this week for our first interview of 2011 as we usher in the completion of his work Vision Machine!

Introducing 'It Came Out On Wednesday 2.0'!  We've given an update to the Comixology app, so why not to the podcast?  Join Jake and Emily for a romp through the updated format, now with 100% more topical humor with our geek news correspondent Kevin!  Then we welcome Young Justice as our new day and date book from DC, and sadly, we say good-bye to the old as Buffy: Season 8 comes to its game changing conclusion.  Don't miss this state of the art podcast!

What better way to start a happy new year than with a happy new host and comics!  Comixologist Emily joins us to discuss the first comics to grace our app in 2011 such as the monumental Spider-Man #600, Walking Dead #80, and Batman Beyond #1!  Then we drop the ball with Children's Crusade, ring in a new Choker, and see the rise of a brand new Brightest Day!

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but this podcast is so delightful, especially when we have  the epic Fables #100 to keep us warm from sheer excitement!  Of course, by the warmth of our glowing iPhones, we have such heated titles as Powers, Identity Crisis, and the finale of The Astounding Wolf-Man, all on the Comixology app!  And if that's not enough, layer up some more with the DC Holiday Special and Thor!

This week we laugh in the face of the holiday's delaying of the regularly scheduled books with our own special Wednesday releases!  On the app we welcome Seth Green's freshman title...uhhh...Freshmen!  Also, Comixology shines this week with the release of Brightest Day!  And despite the Thursday release, we manage to trek through a few books, like Action Comics Annual #13, Secret Six #28, and welcome the return of the classic series, Heroes for Hire!

Get your stuffing early with a lovin' spoonful of comics with Jake and Taylor.  Start off with an APP-etizer of Warlord of Mars, a smattering of the holidays with Marvel Holiday magazine, and we're happy to garnish all of that with the Catacylsm-ically new day and date World of Warcraft: Curse of the Worgen!  Then stick around for a main course of roasted Batman (courtesy of Batman, Inc!), some mashed Deadpool Max covered in Green Lantern, and finish it off with a little Superior for desert.  Unbuckle your belts, folks, this is a big one!

Kick off the penultimate month of the year with us as we induct a bevy of earth-shaking #1's for the app such as Dark Avengers, War of the Supermen, Sea of Red, and Flash: Rebirth!  And that's not all!  If you act now, you'll get even MORE #1's with such new hits as Generation Hope, and for you Kansans, Ozma of Oz and Smallville's own Superboy!  Operators are standing by!

Greetings boys and ghouls!  I hope you're ready for a howling good time as we dig up the best books Comixology has for your Halloween and horror pleasure.  Prepare yourself for something Grimm, as in Grimm's Fairy Tales' Halloween Special!  Tremble in fear in the dark with Batman: The Long Halloween!  Bury yourself with us in the Bulletproof Coffin #5!  And of course, we can't have a Halloween episode without picking our brains about The Walking Dead!

It's a night at the space opera as this week we interview Warlord of Mars writer Arvid Nelson!  Then we put our feet back on the ground as we talk about The Boys on the app, and get a little Halloweenie with Tomb of Dracula!  We keep that creepy vibe going with the DCU's Halloween Special, but not forgetting something a little Kick Ass (volume 2)!  Insert expletive here!
