Whew!  Hope you're not as exhausted from an amazing NY Comic-Con as we are, though, we managed to grab a magical interview with the writer, artist, director, and all around creator of The Secret of Kells; Tomm Moore!  Then, back in the office, we see just how cool Samuel L. Jackson is in Cold Space on the app.  We get some Strange Tales, and a little Halloween early, too, with the House of Mystery Halloween Annual, and recapture the classic spirit of a new Tomb of Terror!

It's the calm before the storm this week, as we get geared up for New York Comic-Con next weekend!  But first we bless our app with Battle Pope before we start seeing Red (the comic)!  Then we Chew through some Action (eat your heart out Gene Shalit) and channel our warrior goddesses Wonder Woman and Valkyrie!

It's a full episode this week as we welcome Tokyopop's manga Hetalia to the Comixology family!  Also on the app, we curb your craving for brains with some Walking Dead and rock out with the JLA for, what else, Rock of Ages.  Then we start Halloween early with the Simpson's Treehouse of Horror, find some morality in Fables, and then give some bizarro love to Supergirl!  The Bizarro Daily Planet raves, "It am not me favoritest podcast!"

Harvey Award winner Bryan J.L. Glass joins us once again to show how he makes lightning strike with Thor: First Thunder #1!  We also talk app stuff as Image United joins our ranks and make sure we have all our shots with Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers!  We keep the magic rolling with Zatanna, go to Infinity (Gauntlet) and (Batman) Beyond, and try to see what's the story with Morning Glories.

A cosmic calamity…errr Labor Day weekend…shakes things up! Taylor and Greg team-up to take on Atomic Robo and the dreamworlds of "In Maps and Legends" and "Sandman" on the app. Then we get patriotic with the Freedom Fighters and take a journey into mystery with "Thor: For Asgard."

This week we proudly announce the new Image app by discussing Savage Dragon, Fell, and learning all about the "Spock Shock" in Bad Dog.  Then we clean up our acts with a double sized dose of Superman/Batman, trip the Four Fantastic, and wrap up the Prince of Power miniseries...but for how long?!

And then it's business as usual as Jake and Taylor give you the run down of the books you must read...or not read!
