Found a really great article about Adverse Childhood Experiences and solutions for kids growing up in trauma. I give my own opinion on this and solutions.

Just a few interesting things that have occurred over the years. This episode is a bit different but just wanted to share some personal info.

I sought out a rational resource for my irrational episode I've been having the past two days. I'll let you know when I hear back from him. I'm curious as to what he'll say.

Need something to calm me down. Some strange stuff has happened recently and cooking always helps.

Just wanted to get on the record some odd stuff that is going on. May relate to a future podcast. And no, I'm not losing my mind.

The choice to discuss your own trauma is a big deal. I share why I think a lot of people don't do it.

Important to remember what are triggers are, and not give in to them by giving up when things don't work out.

Importance of finding something uplifting to engage with. Personally I recommend listening to a choir, going to a theater production or seeing a stand-up comedian. I will say be particular and make sure it's not just noise or foul language. Make sure there's quality in it so it will enrich you if you feel broken.
