This week on The Confession Box, Julie talks about finally feeling like herself again, the gang take a trip down memory lane with childhood TV favourites, and Sean opens up about an uncomfortable experience that sparked a bigger conversation about attitudes, acceptance and how much Ireland has changed over the years.
There's also a debate about whether family members should have spare keys to each other's houses, plenty of reality TV opinions, and somehow the episode finishes with a discussion about whether crows hold their own version of court.
As always, it's honest, funny, completely unfiltered and somehow ends up somewhere nobody expected.

This week starts with one conversation and somehow ends with Cleopatra, communion money, conspiracy theories, mortgage advice and Irish traditions.
The gang chat about ADHD medication costs, overpaying mortgages, family finances, old-school traditions from West Cork and whether parents actually “borrowed” communion money growing up 😂
There’s also a completely chaotic debate about pyramids, ancient Egypt and songs nobody can properly remember.
Another all-over-the-place episode in the best possible way.

Julie thought communion day was going to be emotional and full of big moments… until she found herself literally sitting on the bench while everything unfolded around her 😂
In this episode, Julie chats about Fionn & Aaron Rose’s communion day and the mix of expectations vs reality, including all the funny, chaotic, and very real family moments that came with it. Julie also opens up about pregnancy in the final stretch, general life updates, and the everyday ups and downs of parenting and family life.
It’s an honest, light-hearted catch-up filled with laughs, relatable chaos, and a few unexpected tangents along the way.

This week, the gang are back and there’s finally a new addition to the family - baby Mikey Óg. Julie opens up about the reality of giving birth, the panic during her C-section, the emotional hormone crash afterwards, and the completely random things that had her crying all week.
From “don’t be nice to me” meltdowns to getting nose strips as a push present, this episode swings between emotional and absolute chaos in classic Confession Box fashion. Plus, stories about the twins meeting their baby brother, Lanzarote holidays, Netflix documentaries, and plenty of slagging throughout.

This week is all about the final stretch.
Julie talks through how things are actually feeling right now, hospital visits, low energy, and everything starting to feel very real. There’s still plenty of laughs along the way, but it’s a proper insight into where things are at heading into the final weeks.

It’s all going fine… until the speed van shows up.
What starts off as a normal story quickly takes a turn, leading into a mix of reactions, laughs, and moments that don’t go quite as planned. There’s a bit of everything in this one, the kind of stories you don’t expect to go anywhere, but somehow end up being the highlight.
Sit back and enjoy this week’s episode

After a couple of weeks without a release, this episode feels like everything hits at once.
The conversation moves fast, jumping between stories, side tangents, and a few moments where things almost go a bit too far. There are points where everyone’s talking over each other, bits that probably should’ve been cut, and a few lines that might need a second listen before staying in.
It’s one of those episodes that doesn’t stay on track for long, but that’s what makes it.
Messy, honest, and very nearly left on the cutting room floor.

Welcome back to The Confession Box and this week, Sean is finally back after disappearing for three episodes… and of course, he has absolutely nothing useful to report.
What starts as a simple catch-up quickly turns into the usual chaos, from nights out and running into old friends to stories that could’ve gone very differently if things escalated. There’s a bit of everything: awkward encounters, questionable decisions, and the kind of situations where you’re thinking this could turn at any second.
In between all that, the conversation drifts (as always) into random debates, side stories, and the everyday madness of life. From money stress and talk of loans to the small things that somehow turn into full-blown arguments.
It’s messy, it’s funny, and it goes completely off track more than once… but that’s exactly what makes it a Confession Box episode.

Welcome back to The Confession Box
Just Julie and Nana P this week, and it doesn’t take long before things go completely off the rails.
What starts as a simple catch-up around Mother’s Day, gifts, and day-to-day life quickly turns into one of Julie’s most mortifying moments yet… when her landlord and a painter arrive at the house and the kids decide it’s the perfect time to start saying everything they shouldn’t. Safe to say, she nearly didn’t recover.
From there, the conversation drifts into the reality of juggling home life, money stress, and trying to figure out what’s next, all while raising kids who have absolutely no filter. There’s plenty of throwbacks, a few questionable parenting takes, and the kind of honest chats that somehow swing between heartfelt and chaotic in seconds.
It’s funny, a bit mad, and painfully relatable, another classic Confession Box episode.

This week on The Confession Box, we sit down with our first guest, Yvonne, who shares the heartbreaking story of growing up in a family that has faced unimaginable loss.
This episode contains discussion of suicide, death, drug use, and grief involving young people. Some listeners may find parts of this conversation distressing. Listener discretion is advised.
Yvonne opens up about the first tragedy that struck when she was just three years old, after her 13-year-old brother Roy passed away. She reflects on the few memories she holds from that morning and the incredible strength her mother showed in protecting the rest of the children during an unthinkable moment.
Years later, the family was devastated again when her brother Killian died at just 16 after collapsing in Dublin following a cardiac arrest. Yvonne shares what it was like hearing the news, the shock that spread through their small town, and the complicated grief that followed.
But heartbreak struck the family once more. The episode also begins the story of Yvonne’s younger sister Molly, whose tragic death would become another life-changing moment for the family.
Through it all, one thing remains constant: the strength of a mother raising a large family through loss, grief, and unimaginable hardship.
This episode is raw, emotional, and deeply honest, a story about family, resilience, and the lasting impact of love even in the darkest moments.
