In this week's episode I wanted to talk about the trend that is not really spoken about, of FIXING oneself.
There is definitely an unwritten understanding amongst many of us that we are broken and in need of mending. I happen to think that's BS and so that is what I'm calling out in today's episode.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this as always so do tag me in your posts on the Permission To Soar Facebook Group or email me directly at [email protected].

This seems to be an ongoing theme for me at the moment and I am constantly seeing opportunities to allow things to be messy and imperfect but to press on regardless instead of back peddling as I may have done in the past.
Even the experience of getting this episode out was a total farce from start to finish, which saw my bank account compromised, meaning I couldn't pay to keep my podcast live! So I literally couldn't get this out on Friday as I'd hoped. But instead of giving up and making that mean something, I just published it today instead. Boom. Done!
How many times have you allowed circumstances to dictate your success? How many times have you allowed imperfection to be the reason you don't take action on a nudge?
This episode is for you and I hope it helps.
PS: Please excuse the dodgy sound quality. All will be revealed in the episode and I promise to do better next week!

Welcome back to this new series of the podcast!
In this first episode I share my thoughts on following rules because it seems to be the done thing, even when it makes you want to rip your own hair out.
As always I love hearing your feedback and thoughts so please do reach out to me via email at [email protected] or via my Facebook Group - Permission To Soar.

This was an incredibly exciting episode of TCA-Live because it featured one of my favourite singers, Natalie Weiss!
We raised the very important point that anxiety really doesn't care who you are or what you do and that it's sometimes even harder for those in the public eye or with perceived 'dream jobs' because others just don't understand it or believe it.
This was such a raw and beautiful share from Natalie and I hope it helps to show you that you're truly not alone and anxiety doesn't have to stop you from living an incredible life doing the things you most love to do!

On the show this week is professional Singer and Broadway performer Afra Hines!
Afra has performed in 8 broadway shows and has therefore experienced countless audition situations where she had to navigate the feelings of anxiety and stress as well as worry that she might not live up to expectations. On top of that, lockdowns have meant that shows on broadway have been shut down, which brings a whole new level of anxiety and uncertainty.
In this episode we talked about the parallels between performance anxiety and day to day life and how we can learn so much from the principals that singing and performing teach us.
