Today we're chatting about some of the more unusual hacks I use regularly that keep me organized as a busy mom of 3. You may not have thought of these tips and tricks to make your life easier but I promise if you try them, you won't go back. I used these hacks to stay more organized, on top of birthday parties, day to day preparation for my kids and my overloaded to do list! I hope these help you too. I have linked as much as I could down below. Today we're talking about the importance of treating your home and your space with the respect it deserves. So many of us neglect our homes because we fail to see that without them we would be left in chaos. The truth is that when you treat your environment well, it loves you back and it enables to you to live in a peaceful and calm space. Living a clutter free lifestyle is the only way I can function well and be productive - at least in this time in my life when I have young kids and a lot I am responsible for. I hope this video helps you connect the dots with why it's so crucial to treat your home like another child!
I was recently reminded by how much I need boundaries in my life and so I wanted to share with you what I have learned (again).
We also go over how I want to bring occupational therapy and motherhood together more because these are too areas I have experience in and I think they complement one another so well.

Life ebbs and flows and sometimes you hit a low point that is hard to get up from. I talk about some of the things that have been going on lately that have left me tired and depleted and what I have been doing to help get me out of a mom burnout funk. I hope this can help you too.
It has been a long and hard week and I out of desperation comes creativity. Come along as I show you some of the ways I am trying to make parenting on my own with 3 kids more manageable and dare I say enjoyable. I have really struggled this week and a lot of my best laid plans that I detailed in my previous video fell apart. But what can we do? We keep trucking along.
Also here are Jess Hover's details if you are in the LA area for in person meetups and online:
I am alone with my kids a lot. My husband travels a ton for work, he assures me it's only going to get worse as time goes on and so I have found myself in the unfortunate position of becoming an expert on the topic. We do not have childcare help outside of them going to school so it's all on me to get everyone on time for school, ready for the day, fed, laundry done, afternoon activities and sports attended, toddler meltdowns negotiated and survived etc. It's a lot. BUT I have compiled this list which I think if I stick to it (and you too) will really help me have a better experience as a solo parent. Often life gives you the lessons you need, not the ones you want and this is a perfect example of this for me personally. I also recommend you try some of these tips whether you parent alone or not. They will help.
We're back with a new season of the poddy and I couldn't be more excited to enter this new era of motherhood!

So this may be a hotly debated topic but I think in some areas we let parents get away with being mediocre in today's world. We have let standards slip in our parenting when it comes to the food we feed our kids, screen time and boundaries around sleep etc. What do you think?
