  • Victories & Failures: Isaac
Isaac was blessed by God just like his father, Abraham. And like his father, he wasn’t blessed because he was good or perfect, but because of his faithfulness to God. Isaac definitely had victories, but he had just as many failures. He even made some of the same mistakes as his father. Did Isaac have to make the same mistakes as his father? Were Abraham’s sins passed on to Isaac? Was it inevitable for Isaac to sin because it was in his genes? This Sunday, we will discover that the answers to these questions will lead us to victories instead of failures.

  • Victories & Failures: Abraham (part 3)
Abraham was a man chosen by God for something huge. But just because he was called by God didn't mean that he was perfect. As a matter of fact, Abraham was far from perfect! However, despite his imperfections and failures, God still used Abraham mightily. The miraculous thing is that God took the mistakes in Abraham's life and turned it into victory. What we must realize is that God desires to do the same for all of us!

  • Victories & Failures: Abraham (part 2)
There were many times in Abraham’s life that he messed up. However, his failures did not disqualify him. Even though Abraham made the same mistake more than once, God never gave up on him. As a matter of fact, God used Abraham’s mistakes to show him just that. This obviously had a huge impact on Abraham and built a stronger faith within him, so much so, that he became known as the Father of Faith. Just like Abraham, we all mess up from time to time. But when we do, we should submit ourselves to God and allow Him to turn our failures into victories, which will build a strong faith within us!

There are different types of encounters with God, and each has its own purpose. We need to learn how to activate them and how to receive all the benefits from each. The lifelong pursuit for purpose and fulfillment are found in these encounters. God is doing a new thing at this time. A new encounter awaits you.

  • Ephesians (part 12)
Our enemy, the devil, is very real. His desire is to bring every Christian as low as he can. Satan is persistent, cunning, and attacks in different ways every day. However, he can only devour those that allow him! In the last chapter of Ephesians, Paul gives us a powerful description for the armor of God that is laid at the feet of every believer. Every person who takes up their armor will have proven spiritual warfare strategies and weapons that will give them the victory against the enemy every single time he attacks.Join us for the final installment of our sermon series exploring Paul’s letter to the Ephesians.

As believers we are called to a new way of life in family and vocational relationships. Chapter six of Ephesians contains truths that transcend time, and if followed, will bring blessings that only God can deliver.

  • Ephesians (part 10)
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the word submission? Is it positive or negative? In our culture, submission is a word that often incites controversy. For many, the first things that come to mind are words such as inferior, doormat, or controlled. Even though the word submit tends to be a disliked word, we need to embrace it—but not through the lens of the culture in which we live. Instead, we should look at submission through the lens of the Word of God, and it just so happens that Ephesians is the perfect place to start!
