The Bible says that wisdom is one of the most precious things we can obtain in this life. It is more valuable than rubies, gold, or silver. Wouldn't you do anything to get a hold of as much of it as you could? What if it was offered to you for free?

We are the church. We are individual people that make up one body — the body of Christ. As His body, we were given the assignment to love the Father with all of our being and to love others. When the New Testament church followed their assignment, “the Lord added to the church daily” (Acts 2:47). How can the church of today do the same?

The church. What exactly is it, and does it really matter? Surely it's more than just that thing you do on Sunday morning. If it is, then what is it's purpose?

Last Sunday we learned that we can have victory when tempted to sin, or when enduring trials. One may ask, "but what if I fail?" We need a contingency plan. We also need to develop a battle plan to help prevent falling into temptation, and to get through trials.

Have you ever been in a situation and had no idea how you got there? Has temptation come knocking, and now your wondering why you gave in and accepted the invitation? God wants us to be an overwhelming conqueror in all of the trials, tests, and temptations that we face. We can have victory as long as we Don't Take The Bait that Satan lures us with.

Despite whatever losses (great or small) you have encountered in life, it is God's will to restore you to a life of abundance and joy. Our faith must remain in God, and we need to have a restoration mentality.
