    Being Present.

Being present with ourselves, holding space for others, being silent. These are all some of the things that we discuss in this episode about being present. How do we get to this space? Sarah and I discuss our processes on coming back to our breath in order to stay present; especially amidst the challenges in the world.
Eco-Curious Conversations is a podcastwhere we discuss all the ways that individuals can help move the planet towards a more sustainable future and our goal is to inspire vulnerability along the path to sustainability.

  • 28 - How to listen to ourselves, others and Mother Nature with compassion

How do we listen with compassion? And what does it mean to listen with compassion? In this episode, Sarah and I discuss our experiences with listening.  How we practice compassionate listening and how we can learn to become better listeners.  We believe that only when we are present with ourselves can we be present and listen to another.

We discuss three kinds of listening; listening to ourselves, listening to others and listening to Mother Earth.

  • 27 - Plum Village Reflections: Mindfulness, Meditation and Sustainability

In this episode Sarah and Kat reflect on the week long "Wake-Up" meditation retreat that Kat participated in at Plum Village in early July at the Plum Village Mindfulness Training Center in the South of France.

  • 24 - Good Edi: the good kind of single use cup

In this episode we talk with Catherine Hutchins & Aniyo Rahebi the female founders of the 'good single use' edible cup; Good-Edi.  The cups are made from ethically sourced, grain-based vegan ingredients so Good-Edi is a solution that is good for the planet, and good for you! Both
Catherine and Aniyo have worked in the food processing and packaging industry
    for over 10 years.

The Good-Edi cup is like a waffle cone that can be eaten once it has fulfilled its use
as a cup. Consumers not wanting to eat it can throw it in the compost or even the
general rubbish, knowing it will not take more than a few weeks to break down naturally.

Currently they are only located in cafe's across Australia, take to their instagram (@good_edi) to find out where you can grab a coffee with one of their cups or their website https://good-edi.com/.

  • 23 - Luke Phillips - Making Melbourne zero waste one coffee at a time

In this episode we talk to Luke Phillips, owner of Into Coffee and Into Carry. Luke is an industrial designer who had an 'environmental awakening' and realised the way we make things is broken. He now runs a sustainable carry wear brand called Into Carry and a zero waste coffee shop called Into Coffee in Collingwood, Melbourne. His mission is to change relationships with material resources. This means rethinking how we make, use and dispose of materials, but also how we treat, perceive and value them. Luke believes the solutions to sustainability rely on community and collaboration and loves working with like minded people hellbent on finding better ways to live.

Our conversation stemmed around zero-waste and how Luke's coffee shop, IntoCoffee, creates sustainable and creative solutions for a zero-waste world! We also discussed the concept of Luke's other initiative, IntoCarry, modular bags made from trash!

Our mission is to inspire vulnerability and awareness in order to become more mindful of our everyday actions and how they affect the planet, each other and ourselves.
