There are a couple of different ways to cross a river. The easiest and most obvious is to use a bridge. But if there was no bridge you could row a canoe across. And if you didn’t have a canoe you might be able to throw a rope over to the other side. And if the stream was small enough you might be able to just hop over with a running leap. But the river between us and God? There’s only one way to reach the other side. You’ll never cross the chasm apart from Jesus. Your longest leap will fall short and your strongest bridge will collapse halfway across. Follow Pastor Mark’s teaching today and accept Jesus as the only Savior able to bridge the divide.
