  • 4 Ways to Get In Energetic Alignment With Your Soul's Purpose and Meditation

Are you at this point of your life where you’re soul-searching and trying to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life? No matter your age, it’s never too late, nor is it too early, to start exploring.

In this episode, I’m sharing with you some things to help you get in energetic alignment with your soul’s purpose. Over the course of my life, especially in my late 20s to early 30s, I have been trying to look outside of myself and I wondered why I still felt something was missing. Ultimately, every decision I made towards personal development was a step that got me closer to where I am today – the key was to allow my intuition to guide me towards my soul’s purpose.

And so, by the end of this episode, I’m inviting you to experience this beautiful meditation that will help tap into your awareness and remind you that you have all of this inside of you. Just continue to follow the things that light you up and know this is just another step in the right direction.

When we meditate, we're putting ourselves in that energetic alignment and energetic vibration. We become more aware of what doesn't fit. And when we're in that space, we find clarity in everything we need to do, thereby leading us in the direction we want.

In this episode, you will hear :

    • Allowing your intuition to guide you towards your soul's purpose
    • Surrounding yourself around other beautiful souls
    • Why it’s important to take the time to reset yourself regularly as an entrepreneur
    • Examples of how you can yourself in a good place energetically
    • Some of our offerings to help you along this journey
    • A guided meditation to help you get in energetic alignment with your soul’s purpose

  • 055: Spirit Soup with Alex Tolan

Alex Tolan is the kindest, sweetest, gentlest of souls and a powerful connector with the spiritual realm that I guarantee to bring your soul all that it needs to journey forward towards your highest alignment.

Over the years, Alex has studied a multitude of healings, strong practicing meditation, journaling, affirmation breathwork energy healing. She's a Reiki Master specializing in traditional Reiki, Holy Fire, and Karuna modalities.

Back in Episode 10, Alex shared with us how she graduated in 2012 and got a bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Salisbury University. She shared her passion for jewelry and the healing properties of crystals and gemstones and what they do for the mind, body, and soul.

In between the previous episode that Alex appeared on and then now, Alex had to go through some changes, including some series of burnout and her pregnancy. She got into a space where she felt like she didn't have the energy to hold space for others so she decided to have her own little inner winter, began disconnecting from the world and going within. She was then able to reassess how she wanted to go about with her Reiki practice and focus the energy on herself. She wanted to make sure she was in a good headspace and a good energetic space.

Giving herself the grace to shut out the outside chatter, she ultimately found the clarity, the headspace, and the inspiration to get back in a new and different way of using her tools. Alex points out that taking a step back from the work is just as important as the work because you can't always help heal others since you've got to go within as well.

Today, Alex shares her beautiful hibernation experience as well as the value of joining a collaborative community that helps you bring out each other’s gifts.

In this episode, you will hear :

    • How Reiki energy is not bound by time or space
    • Receiving intuitive guidance sessions from the comfort of your home
    • Distant Reiki vs. in-person Reiki and how to make the most of each
    • The importance of having a community to collaborate with
    • Distinguishing your inner voice from your ego voice
    • Mentorship opportunities that Alex and I offer

  • 054: Meet Your Guardian Angel Meditation

Today, I'm going to do a short meditation with you so that you can meet your guardian angel. If you are new to meditation, I hope that you will enjoy it, or at least give it a try.

There are so many benefits to having a meditation practice. I remember even at the very beginning of my journey, how sitting still was not my thing. I thought it was enough that I was being very present and I was getting downloads. But this year, I realized how important meditation practice was for me, especially during my long battle with COVID pneumonia.

Meditation and breathwork gave me a baseline and I felt a connection that determined even my mood for the day and allowed me to connect to that vibration I wanted to stay in. It changed the game for me.

If you can try to discipline yourself to start a meditation practice, you can work up to 10 minutes. You don't have to do it every single day. But if you do try, give yourself at least 30 days to see where you're at and how it begins to impact your life the way it did mine.

In this episode, you will hear:

    • Increasing self-awareness through guided meditation
    • Getting centered and grounded reducing stress and anxiety
    • Meditation improves your attention span and increases your energy
    • The calming effects improving sleep
    • The Guardian Angel guided meditation

  • 053: Heal Your Hunger with Tricia Nelson

Wondering why a lot of diets fail? Or why is it that you keep going to the refrigerator at night? Several studies suggest that the reason most diets fail is that people are barking up the wrong tree. Trisha Nelson joins us today as she shares how being overweight is a symptom of overeating and how overeating is a symptom of what's eating you.

Trisha has spent over 30 years researching the hidden causes of addictive personality. She is an internationally acclaimed author, transformational speaker, and emotional eating expert. Her story sparked my interest as I had recently been aware of my own healing and personal issues with food and gut health.

Trisha was obsessed with food and that obsession translated into being overweight. By age 20, she was 50 pounds overweight. She hated exercise that at some point, she even considered joining the army so she'd be forced to exercise at boot camp. Eventually, she met somebody who showed her that her problem had nothing to do with food, but it was really an emotional issue. He helped her deal with it by going deeper and dealing with the underlying causes – realizing she had a living problem and not an eating problem – and all that changed her entire life.

Today, Trisha shares her journey with emotional eating and how it prompted her to write the book, Heal Your Hunger: 7 Simple Steps to End Emotional Eating Now. Hopefully, this soulful conversation today with Trisha inspires everyone who’s also dealing with emotional eating issues or addiction to food so they can ultimately achieve healing.

    Tricia's Bio

Tricia Nelson is an internationally acclaimed author, transformational speaker, and Emotional Eating Expert. She lost fifty pounds by identifying and healing the underlying causes of her emotional eating. She has spent over thirty years researching the hidden causes of the addictive personality. Tricia is the author of the #1 bestselling book, Heal Your Hunger, 7 Simple Steps to End Emotional Eating Now. She also certifies health coaches so they can get better results, referrals, and revenue by helping their clients overcome emotional eating. Tricia is the host of the popular podcast, The Heal Your Hunger Show and is a highly regarded speaker. Tricia has been featured on NBC, CBS, KTLA, FOX, and Discovery Health.

In this episode, you will hear :

  • 052: The Importance of Executing a Last Will with Attorney April Charleston

In this episode, I'm speaking with my estate and business attorney April Charleston, specifically about estate planning. If you have a child and you want to ensure their future, then you have to listen to this episode because you need to have a last will.

According to April, the most common reason people wait too long or never get around to completing their will is they don't have anything. They think they don't need it because they haven't saved up a lot or they don't own much real estate. But April wants to clarify that estate doesn't necessarily mean a castle or a stable full of horses, or a million dollars in the bank. Everyone has an estate, even if you just have a pair of slippers, that's your estate. “Estate” sounds fancy, but it doesn’t have to be.

Another reason is that it's sort of a taboo when we're talking about death since it's a painful process. A lot of people naturally put a wall up between their psyche and that eventuality. But the truth is we are all going to die, and so it's something we need to prepare for. Don’t you think this is a loving gesture to people we want to take care of?

April also explains that estate planning is not only for when you've passed away, but even very much so when you're alive. And so, if you have family and you care about them, you can definitely make your living will beforehand so they won’t have to make those difficult types of decisions, if the need arises.

    April’s Bio

April is the founding member of The Charleston Firm in Chester County.  April’s focus is on estate and trust administration and estate and tax planning. In addition to her estate practice, April represents many small, mid-sized and family-owned businesses, handling and resolving divergent matters.

April counsels many families and individuals in a wide array of personal and business concerns. She handles all aspects of both commercial and residential real estate transactions on behalf of sellers, purchasers and investors.

April has tried cases in courts of multiple jurisdictions in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She also practices in an area of personal passion, by representing both visual and performing artists. She lives in West Chester with her husband and two young children.

In this episode, you will hear :

    • The 3 parts of documents: last will and/or trust, power of attorney, and the living will or a medical power of attorney
    • The drafting process and fees
    • Issues and disagreements within the family
    • Situations in the case of name change
    • The legal resolution of an estate administration usually takes more than a year
    • Finding a compromise or everybody else loses
    • When to do an update
    • You don’t have to leave anything to your in-laws
    • Understanding the laws of different states
    • Why it’s important to work with someone with the legal background

  • 051: A Soul Expansive Journey with My Life-Long Friend Chelsye Phillips

Chelsye Phillips has been my life-long friend. When I asked her what brought us together, she said that, in some part, it was because of our shared experiences. Although we didn't know that right away, in some ways, we are just fundamentally alike.

There’s this element of yin and yang that we were able to fill a void that the other one had. We weren't afraid to ask each other for help, which is something a lot of people aren’t able to do with their friends. But the commonality about us no matter what we were going through is that we wanted to support each other no matter what and work on ourselves.

One of the things we also discussed is doing your own healing work first before you tap into it and start growing because it will kick up a lot. And you will have to work on your own personal healing through it because a lot of trauma and all those stuff are surely going to come up.

Even though we’re doing two totally different things, it's our truth. And as we've grown in this very fluid way, personally and together as friends, the amount of things we had in common along the way has truly blown me away.

In this episode, you will hear:

    • Our wonderful memories together from our heart-stopping car rides to waiting tables to our birthing moments
    • The moment I told her about my connection with the spiritual realm
    • When I knew Chelsye was also able to pick up on people and places from a healing perspective
    • You can't even begin to give others advice when you're not following your own.
    • Understanding soul contracts and soul family
    • What Chelsye learned from attending my course and the empowerment she got from it
    • Making sure that the head and heart are aligned
    • How I interact with individuals who have different belief systems

  • 050: Raise Your Vibration with Jay Campbell

Jay Campbell is a fitness guru, author of many books, and fellow podcaster.  Ever since I started to connect with Jay and learn more about his journey, I've been listening to his podcast, and I’ve watched it transform and transcend. Jay has been on this journey to a more awakened and spiritual life after an experience he had in Peru in July 2019. According to Jay, the fate of humanity hangs in the balance right now and as children of light, we all came here for a mission to raise consciousness across the planet.

Today, Jay brings so much great content on the mind, the body, and the soul, and how they're working all together to form a fully optimized life. I sincerely thank Jay for just choosing to be in this life with all of us here because he definitely didn't have it easy, and neither do we.

At 41 years old, Jay realized that his old ways of doing things were no longer working for him. He had “all of the things,” but really, he had nothing. He went through a divorce, went to jail, and was charged with multiple felonies he didn't commit like having his kids kidnapped for him. Having to defend his name, losing his job, losing his house, and essentially, losing his place in society – he had to recalibrate and reevaluate what really mattered. His current wife, also his spiritual mentor and guide, reminded him that he had to focus on his spiritual fitness and that if he wanted to manifest the things he wanted, then he had to work on himself first.

    Jay's Bio:

Jay is now a globally recognized media personality who has written multiple international best-selling books within the hormonal optimization and performance health space. The TRT MANual, and his second book on Hormonal Optimization, The TOT Bible are the #1 5 STAR rated books of all time on Hormonal Optimization.

Jay’s mastery of the Hormonal Optimization and Optimized Health Care space has allowed him to become a chief innovator and disrupter to the ‘sick care’ medical industry and a leading global evangelist—teaching men, women (and their doctors) how to optimize their hormones, their life, and their happiness.

He is regularly sought out by the Best Doctor’s, researchers, and thought leaders for his opinions via his globally acclaimed The Jay Campbell Podcast and his powerful articles and daily emails in regards to biohacking, hormones, and health and performance.

Jay is also the Co-Founder/Owner of AseirCustom.com his cosmeceutical skincare company which uses the revolutionary copper peptide GHK-Cu to create the healthiest and youngest looking skin possible.

In this episode, you will hear:

    • Jay’s “dark night of the soul” moment, what happened in Peru, and the vision he had
    • 80% of people don't function above the line of integrity
    • Integrity vs. being integrous
    • Until you love and trust yourself, you are giving your power away
    • Empowered = sovereign, free and in resonance
    • Disempowered = fearful, enslaved, in dissonance, and completely incapable of not giving your power away
    • Victimhood - not capable of taking personal accountability
    • Reacting out of fear and letting go of what doesn’t serve you
    • Lifting people consciously through your love frequency
    • What happens when you’re carrying the ancestral trauma and you don’t surrender to awareness
    • There's no physiologically manifested disease that does not come from a traumatized spirit.
    • Do the inner work and the answers will come to you
    • How peptides will bring down allopathic medicine for good

  • 049: All Things Angels with Julie Jancius

Julie Jancius is spending time with us today as we talk about all things Angels and how we connect with our own angels. Having been an angel reader even before this all got mainstream, Julie describes her journey as like creating a pathway yet blindly walking where Spirit tells you to go.

She didn't actually realize how much the angels were working with her until she started going through her energy healing training. Despite everything she was being taught, she just couldn’t do it. And she just started talking and telling people what was coming through.

As teachers, we need to honor that everybody does this differently and that we're all led to the teacher that we're supposed to be with so we can learn the lessons we need to learn. And oftentimes, the lessons we're learning are the kind of growth we need to have on a personal level.

Hence, as teachers, we need to work on our personal growth first because if you’re opening yourself to spiritual work, all of the triggers and lessons you need to learn are definitely going to come up. We have to do things the way we feel we’re called to do and work with who we feel called to.

Here’s a little background about Julie:

Wife to Blake and mama to their beautiful daughter and two fur babies, Julie has been talking to Angels her whole life. Since elementary school, she knew she wanted to work for God. Her soul purpose is to teach, spread hope and help you get you back on your path, and stop living from the vibrations of sadness, fear, loneliness, anxiety or stress.

Julie is passionate about teaching people how to live from the vibrations of love, joy, peace, bliss, ease and grace – she calls it living in Oneness. Don’t take her word for it. Instead, experience what it's like to live in Oneness, which is the highest vibration for yourself.

In this episode, you will hear :

    • Julie’s experience of the Oneness energy
    • How Julie’s readings look like
    • Keeping your readings in the highest integrity
    • The biggest struggle within the spiritual community
    • Why work on your personal growth first and cross different lines in your spiritual work
    • The process of dropping fear
    • Julie’s definition of angels
    • The role of Archangel Michael and cherubs holding the Oneness energy
    • How angels work with us
    • Having a support system to help us go to where Spirit wants us to go
    • Why we shouldn’t be putting a hierarchy on our gifts

  • 048: How to Optimize Your Exercise & Nutrition Regiment with Brock Waluk

I met Brock around 2012 at the very beginning of my bodybuilding years. I've known him as a humble yet well-informed trainer who is constantly keeping himself up to date with his knowledge in the industry.

Having witnessed his own personal transformation in mind, body, and soul over the years, Brock focuses on true personal development, hard work, and building a long-lasting community within his business. It has grown so much that he now has several amazing employees who have the same level of energy and commitment that he has.

Today, Brock talks about the power of training for longevity. That being said, you also need to be able to hold space for people so you can relate to them and for transformation to happen not only on a physical level, but also, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

One of the takeaways Brock shares in this interview is that action precedes motivation. If you're waiting for motivation, it might never come. And so, you need to do the thing first. Then once you do it, you actually feel more motivated to do the thing again and again. You just have to take that first step.

    More About Brock

Brock Waluk grew up in the athletic world his whole life, participating in football, track, wrestling, and boxing.  After graduating High School, Brock attended the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine.

Brock developed a passion for bodybuilding and helping people reach their health and nutrition goals. He learned that each person is unique and has individual needs when it comes to training and nutrition and that a personal training routine cannot be cookie-cutter to be effective.

Brock became well-versed in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Throughout the years, he has trained a variety of clients ranging from athletes, bodybuilders, professional MMA fighters, post-rehabilitation patients, and those wanting to lose weight and get back into a healthier lifestyle.

Brock is certified by the nationally accredited NCCPT with certificates in personal training, weight management, functional training, and nutrient timing for peak performance.

In this episode, you will hear :

    • When Brock started to develop his passion for training and nutrition
    • Recognizing he was just an average trainer so he had to up his game
    • The impact of health and fitness on people’s lives
    • How exercise can sometimes be more mental than it is physical
    • The goal of longevity is to reduce chronic inflammation
    • The many benefits of resistance training including reduced chronic inflammation
    • Why you’ve got to dial your nutrition in while training
    • How you get to become more relatable with people
    • How Spirit is working to benefit the next person's healing journey
    • How people can get into the habit of moving the body
    • The biggest mistake trainers make

  • 046: Busting Three Manifesting Myths with Michelle J Lamont

Do you wonder why you’re still struggling to manifest what you want no matter how many books or courses you’ve consumed? In today’s episode, Michelle J Lamont shares three manifesting myths you need to debunk so you can get moving to the life of your dreams. Through her amazing story of strength and challenges, Michelle teaches us why people get stuck in the manifestation process and how it’s truly possible to manifest miracles.

From orphanage to Oprah to omnipresent, influential entrepreneur and manifestation guru, Michelle J. Lamont is expanding and amplifying her mindfulness message to help you truly manifest everything you desire – and do it quicker than most believe you can.

Michelle’s success didn’t come easy initially but once she decided to become a manifesting manifestor, as God wants all of us to be, everything else followed. Developing a relentless spirit and an unwavering belief that she can pray, dream and speak intentions into realities, Michelle survived a bank account of only $250, a clunker of a car and endless nights waiting tables and rolling frozen Domino’s pizza dough.

Michelle is an alchemist in her own way – turning her suffering into pure magic. A testament to the power of her positivity, Michelle launched her first business at age 8 despite growing up in an orphanage. Eventually, she opened the dog-centric Foxy Paws and transformed it into a million-dollar company with 40 employees. She also hosts her popular podcast – Manifesting Miracles – to help each one of us dig deep and learn to follow through on our intentions.

With a unique combination of uncanny news judgment and savvy business sense, Lamont later launched her own public relations company and connected her clients with high-profile partnerships on TV networks such as Bravo, WE, Style and Aspire.

These days, Michelle is a successful, full-time podcaster, motivational speaker, life coach, mindfulness expert and manifestation guru. Her podcast debuted in October 2020 as one of the Top 100 downloaded shows in the spiritual/self-help genre and now has more than 22,000 subscribers. Michelle has been featured on numerous TV networks, interviewed Oprah Winfrey, was named DFW Women’s “Influence” award winner.

In this episode, you will hear :

    • Her mom’s death and growing up in orphanage
    • Surviving a mentally and verbally abusive relationship
    • How she dealt with so much anger inside of her
    • Being the receiver and the giver of everything in your reality
