When was the last time you were scrolling through your social media, saw someone's "quick" success, and immediately felt bad about your own business progression? All too often, right?
This episode is a great reminder to place value on fun, rest, and quality time as well as your business goals. Choosing to grow your business sustainably, puts you back in control of your lifestyle—and your bottom line.
Today I'm chatting with Suzi Gray, brand strategist, copywriter, and founder of Captivation House. You're going to love Suzi's take on balance and building a lifestyle-led business. Suzi also shares her 5 Stages of Branding and we go into depth on laying the foundation and building the cornerstone—two things that I think too many business owners overlook, myself included.

You went into your business as a way to help and support other people. So many of the clients I work with have started their business from a personal passion, and a desire to make a positive change in peoples' lives.
Today's episode is different from any other episode I've done before. You may not recognize our guest, but he's a master at online content. I discovered Paul Churchill last summer through his Recovery Elevator podcast. It was right around when I started my health journey and started toying with quitting drinking.
In this interview, we talk about the moment when Paul realized that the podcast was so much more than an accountability tool—it was a way to help others and, eventually, to grow a business. I invited Paul onto the podcast to share that your passion CAN become a business.
As you're listening, I would love to have you listen with the lens of...what's your passion? Have you built a business around it? Because your audience is waiting for it!

About Paul Churchill
In 2006, Paul Churchill moved to Granada Spain where he purchased a bar. In the following three years he became dependent on alcohol, blacking out close to 7 nights per week. In 2009, Paul walked away from the bar hoping a geographical cure would curtail the drinking but continued to drink for another 5 years.
In February 2015 Paul launched the Recovery Elevator podcast as an accountability tool to stay sober. Today, it's been over 5 years since Paul had his last drink of Alcohol and the podcast has surpassed 5 million downloads, and evolved into a private membership community with over 1,300 members from all over the world.
Paul is the author of the best-selling book Alcohol is SH!T, has delivered two TEDx talks, was a featured speaker at My Brave in Los Angeles, and plans to continue eradicating the stigma surrounding alcohol and addiction.

I know you think that mapping out content in your business is impossible because it's so unpredictable. That may be the case for some of your content, but the truth is that having a plan for some of your content will open up so much space for the content that just pops up with no warning. And having a plan in place may just open up the door for more space for creativity.
Today we're talking about that elusive content plan, that evades you because of the type of messaging you have. You feel like a consistent plan isn't for you because what you create or the industry you're in is just too unpredictable. Or maybe it's YOU that's unpredictable.
Whatever it is, I want to share how to have a plan of action even when you feel like you just can't plan anything.

I have a confession. I have been avoiding Clubhouse like it's the plague. I've been very anti-Clubhouse since it first came out because, let's face it, the online space has seen its fair share of overly hyped platforms.
But things are changing a bit and that's why I decided it was time to look more closely at Clubhouse as a viable platform for people who are marketing their businesses online.
Today I'm chatting today with Annabelle Bayhan, founder of Clubhouse for Bosses. She works 1:1 with clients to help them strategize around Clubhouse and get the most out of their marketing efforts. I have to say I learned a lot from my conversation with Annabelle. I hope you do too!
