This week Bryan and Jeff start you off with a tangent on Philip K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and the movie it inspired, Bladerunner. Jumping franchises, they careen into the video of a 15-foot Star Destroyer from Star Wars that actually flies. But then they remember that this is the Apple Context Machine and discuss a new class action lawsuit brought against Apple, as well as the idea that 2015 was the year of betas for the company.

Taylor Swift debuted her 1989 World Tour (Live) movie on Apple Music, and Jeff and Bryan want to know how much it cost. Up in Waterloo, Canada, BlackBerry CEO John Chen said some stuff about encryption and Apple, and most of it didn't make any sense. And down in Cupertino, Apple has been shifting the roles of some of its executives, leading to two people not known as "product guys" to be in charge of products.

Apple's research and development machine is a legend in the making, and Jeff and Bryan talk about two new developments that hint at the company's efforts. They also look at Tickle, an app for controlling the BB8 toy and a whole more, and for a closer they discuss Banksy's use of Steve Jobs's likeness in a piece meant to remind the world of the benefits of migration and immigration.

Bryan and Jeff explore the realm where Steve Ballmer thinks he's earned the right to criticize Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella decisions. The also offer you four more gift ideas and discuss Donald Trump's call to talk to Bill Gates about "closing that Internet up in some way." Fun times!

Apple reported big numbers during its fourth quarter earnings call yesterday. Jeff and Bryan sort out Apple's revenue and earnings, China's place in Apple's game plan, and what other news sites got wrong about Android switchers.
