The wrong view of man's nature results in the wrong view of everything, leading to tyranny, the centralization of power and wealth in the hands of a few oligarchs, and the demolition of nation states. John Maynard Keynes showed his cards at one point, admitting that, "There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million can diagnose."
