Today, Pastor Matt takes us into the book of Matthew as we continue learning from the stories Jesus told. Each of us has been created by God with something special to offer the world. In the parable of the talents, Jesus teaches specifically about this. We've been given a gift... it is up to us to use that gift to DO SOMETHING for the Kingdom!

As Christians, we have the responsibility to tell others about Him and the life that's found in Him. Forgiveness can be difficult. Especially if a person has really hurt you. But what when we have to forgive them for the second time? Or the third time? Today, we jump into the book of Matthew where Jesus tells a story that illustrates what forgiveness should look like for us... never-ending! When we apply some patience and remember how much we've been forgiven, forgiveness can be a lot easier.

Isn't this true? Jesus, being fully man, also understood this and shared many truths to us through storytelling. That is what this new series is all about. 

In today's message, Pastor Matt jumps into the parable of the persistent widow in the book of Luke. God calls us to "pray without ceasing" and for God to move, persistence must play a role. Persistence and tenacity in our prayers get's noticed!

"Pride comes before the Fall". We've all heard that yet pride is still one of the easiest stumbling blocks to fall over... it seems to be the root of a lot of sin in life! However, in today's message, pastor Matt takes us into Philippians where we look at the example Christ sets at overcoming pride. If we can really stop to be self aware and realize it's not all about us, we can truly see the value in others and ultimately give glory to God!
