Having reviewed our series on Jesus's Walking on the Sea, we focused in on the disciples' not knowing who he was and thought they had seen a ghost. Jesus declares unto them who he is. They weren't certain, so we explore more into what the context behind them not understanding who he is involves and what Jesus is tapping into here. My mentor Dr. Michael S. Heiser did his dissertation work in this passage. It is through the lens of this passage we can understand who Jesus claims to be.
