To mark the almost half way mark of the year, Paul and Wayne get together to rank and rate the ten TV seasons they've been consuming in 2025. Counting down (cause that's the name of the show) from worst to best, the lads will attempt to warn you off anything poor they've laboured through, before highlighting the shows that are absolute worth your precious time.

The final film (maybe?!) in the Mission Impossible franchise dropped EARLY in Australia and with thankls to Paramount Pictuyres Australia, the boys were in attendance at an advanced screening to bring you the early word on whether Tom cruise and Christopher McQuarrie nail the brief.

Can Ethan Hunt overcome the entity and save everybody he loves as well as the world? Will Wayne regret seeing a 170 minute films twice in three days? And just how inadequate does Tom Cruise make the guys feel?

The boys have headed back to the cinema with thanks to Warner Brothers Australia and Universal Australia to see the sequel which, well, few people expected: The Accountant! The critics seem to be liking and the audience score is high on most-metrics, but what do Paul and Wayne have to say about this apparent crowd-pleaser?

Can Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal and director Gavin O'Connor re-capture the magic of the well-received 2016 original? Or is this a case of tax time at the box office? (Yeah, I know. I was pretty proud of that one.)

Just when you thought it was safe to peer back into your podcatching app ... the boys are back!

Sure, it's been a hot minute since the last Countdown ep, and yes, everyone did their most anticipated films of 2025 about three months ago. But by holding out for those three months, not only have Paul and Wayne distilled their list down to nine months' worth of films, but they've also had time for their anticipation to GROW, so you can really feel the passion in this one.

Will Ballerina finally get released? Can Wayne put anything other than Tom Cruise movies and comedies on his list? And has Paul, after ten years, finally outgrown his love of horror films?

Jason from Binge Movies returns to join the lads as they - finally! - countdown their Top to Films of 2024!

Sure it's two months after most every other podcast has done this episode, but you've sampled the entrees and here's the main course - complete with films all three wouldn't have watched if they did do this episode on Jan 1st.

Jason gets upset with Paul for multiple picks; Paul gets upset with Wayne for a bunch of his picks; and Wayne has managed to see at least eleven films in 2024, so get ready for a big episode! :D

But today, Paul and Wayne prove there is life in The Countdown yet. As well as fulfill their promise to (triumphantly) return in 2025 with more episodes. Not weekly; sure. But with new episodes none the less.

And it begins with this PSA regarding the very worst of the worst films from 2024 that the lads saw.

So, pop in your ear buds or have your car stereo bluetooth from your phone, because The Countdown is back, baby, and there's plenty to say about these abominations of cinema!
