Being big fans of the Woo and with a kick-ass and bloodthirsty trailer, the boys were all kinds of excited about an action Christmas movie following in the foot-steps of Die Hard and last year's Violent Night. But did Silent Night fill their stockings with the Woo-laden goodies? Or was one of the hosts very Grinchian about his experience of this film?

December 01, 2023 MCU Phase 4 Ranked!

It's the 450th Countdown this week, and the boys are celebrating by taking aim at Marvel's Phase 4 and ranking all the films and television shows from it. Or at least Paul is. Wayne continues to defend most forms of mediocrity. Though at least some of that may be attributable to him being late low with an illness in the week leading up to this recording. Which means the guys aren't in the same room, and worse, no Soundboard for such an important occasion *cue anguish the world over*

But that won't stop the guys from doing their level best to disagree, banter and entertain - something they've been striving to do for night on nine years now.

Find out more (any maybe too much?) about the boys this week as they countdown the top 10 books which have somehow changed their lives.

As you might imagine, this opens the door for some interesting discussions about turning points in the lads' lives, while also diving into a medium of learning and entertainment which has barely been touched up on 447 previous countdowns.

Part of this was because Wayne was reluctant to expose his lack of reading to the world, but the reality is, he has plenty to say, and most of it - for once - is not profanity-laced calls of a ludicrous nature :P

Paul, meanwhile, is in his element - though it turns out his element is far more fantastical than Wayne's, in what might be an unexpected and intriguing turn of events for long term listeners.

But in a film featuring some out of left field scenes and one of the worst villains the MCU has ever trotted out, can the rest of The Marvels rise about its impediments to produce something memorable? Or does it continue the downward spiral of the MCU?
