The 400 lbs. ape was shot and killed by zoo officials after a 4-year-old black child fell into the gorillas wading area. Throngs of Whites fumed over the decision to sacrifice the ape to safegaurd the child; many are calling for the black mother to be charged with neglect. It's not clear if any of these protesters were as outraged about the shooting deaths of John Crawford III, Tamir Rice, or Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams - all black Ohioans gunned down by enforcement officers.
