The White "transgender" shooter was allegedly killed on the scene by officers. One of the six victims was 61-year-old Mike Hill, affectionately known as "big strong Mike." Author, Victim of White Supremacy, reparations activist Randall Robinson passed away at the age of 81. We'll study a fascinating report on "Race Correction" in global health care. Racist medical officials fabricate reasons to give black patients inferior care. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the debut 11th study session on Mário Filho's 1947 The Black Man in Brazilian Soccer, translated to English by Jack A. Draper III. Brazilian football (soccer) legend Pelé died near the end of 2022 at the age of 82. His transition along with the disgraceful hooliganism displayed when former President Jair Bolsonaro lost the presidency to Lula da Silva, motivated us to read this book. Since most non-white people have not traveled to South America or studied Brazil, this seems like a great time to do some south-of-the-equator learning. Gus T. hoped that the Brazilian thuggery would continue while we're reading this text. Low and behold, on the same day that there was a deadly school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee, a 13-year-old White Brazilian teenager stabbed a teacher to death. They've had at least three school attacks in Brazil since November of 2022, the shooters have donned Nazi paraphernalia in two of the attacks. During last week's session, Fihlo detailed how a black soccer player, Leônidas, was nearly lynched for driving reckless after the ball games. Gus was struck by the lack of context for lynchings in Brazil - how frequent were these murders attacks? The C.O.W.S. welcomes Dr. Shawn Utsey. We were joined by Dr. Utsey approximately 30 minutes later than our agreed upon start time. Since he did not confirm with Gus for the program, there were many reasons to think he was not going to honor his agreement to speak with us. Dr. Utsey apologized for his tardiness and explained he was dealing with an emergency. Thankfully, we were able to discuss his film company, Burn Baby Burn, and his project on the history of Nat Turner. His documentary film, Until the Well Runs Dry: Medicine and the Exploitation of Black Bodies, details how black corpses were harvested for use by the Virginia medical college. White medical school students honed their anatomical knowledge and medical skills on stolen black carcasses. Chris Baker, a black male Victim of White Supremacy, was held hostage and forced to "acquire" the black bodies. We also discussed Dr. Utsey's Toward a Black Psychology: Origin & Evolution of a Discipline. This project features cameos from Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, Dr. Robert L. Williams, and a number of other esteemed black health professionals. Gus does not remember any Whites being "grilled" about the ongoing bank failures and nefarious investment practices, nor any Whites being peppered with questions about the ongoing and unsolved attacks on US power stations. In Kansas, 21-year police veteran Edward Williams charges that the Kansas City Police Department has a quota system that targets black residential areas. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. During last week's broadcast, Gus and listeners discussed a report on North Carolina art teacher Ashley R. Thompson. She's repeatedly failed a required certification for North Carolina public school educators and has consequently been relegated to "substitute teacher" pay and status - which is about an $18,000 subtraction in annual pay. Our "Female Caller in Georgia" commented that any competent academic program should successfully train their students to pass any certifications required to advance in their respective field. Gus investigated further, and reports indicate Ms. Thompson attended the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Institute of Charlotte. Both of these schools are now defunct. The company that owned the Art Institute franchise, Dream Center Education Holdings, is now bankrupt and accused of scamming thousands of gullible college students - like Ms. Thompson. Gus suspects large numbers of non-white people have wasted countless hours and a ransom of dollars on bogus White-operated "schools" like this. We also discuss the LA United School District's 3 day worker strike that left 100,000's of students sitting listless for half the week. Thousands of non-white cafeteria workers, educators, custodial and support staff report they spend more time per week with the children than the students's own parents. Our last study session saw the continued trend of Filho minimizing the abuses of White Supremacy in Brazil. He consistently talks about the progress of black players and skin color not mattering to fútbol fans. All the while, we continue to hear about the kinky hair of non-white players. We also hear more about black and non-white soccer players refusing to cavort with their White teammates after ball games. Filho casually mentions that fans threatened to "lynch" star player Leônidas Da Silva for being an insolent, shameless, dirty negro. Gus thinks it's important that no context or explanation is provided for the concept of "lynching." It's assumed that Brazilian readers are "experts" on lynching black people. President Joe Biden guarantied customers that their coins would be available. This illustrates that it is not possible to be "independent" of the White Supremacist economic system. In addition to collapsing banks and blizzards in California, the Los Angeles Unified School District is facing a teacher strike at the beginning of next week. The 2nd largest school district in the country could be closed for three days next week - with hundreds of thousands of non-white children missing out on education. This is between him telling readers that Racism is on the wane in Brazil because White fans only care about winning. We continue to hear the contrast between well-fed White players who don't need the payoffs of soccer because they're well educated with a full belly and roof over their head.
