The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 7th study session on one of the most talked about books on the planet, The Autobiography of Malcolm X: As Told To Alex Haley (1965). Five decades after the assassination of El Hajj Malik Shabazz, White Terrorism still strangles the world and remains the most pressing concern of black people. The war against black people that Minister Malcolm devoted his life to opposing persists; the relevance of his life and work exhibited daily. Last week's installment detailed the energy Minister Malcolm invested in growing the Nation Of Islam. He also described how he and Betty Shabazz married. Minister Malcolm indicated that the NOI functioned in relative obscurity until the documentary film, The Hate That Hate Produced. This production was accompanied by C. Eric Lincoln's book, The Black Muslims In America. The Nation Of Islam was immediately branded as black supremacists and black racists.
