Bob Wheeler graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. His world travels led him to all points on the globe, especially those at high altitudes. He climbed Africa’s Mt. Kilimanjaro, ascended 17,598 feet in Nepal to the Mount Everest Base Camp, and reached the summit of several smaller mountains in between.
