ABOUT THIS EPISODE
How do small creators get brand deals on YouTube? I've never pitched a sponsorship in my life - yet brands like Wix, Skillshare, Flexispot, BenQ and Domestika have reached out to work with me, even when I had under 2,000 subscribers. This video breaks down the 5 reasons brands reach out to small creators, so you can start attracting brand deals and sponsorships with a small audience too.
There's a common assumption that brand sponsorships only go to creators with hundreds of thousands of followers - but that's not what I've seen. Brands actively prefer working with micro influencers (10k-100k) and nano influencers (under 10k), because trust and engagement run stronger at smaller scale. My first paid brand deal was £800 per video for two videos, and what landed it wasn't my follower count - it was the way my content was structured. This video walks through exactly how to position yourself as the kind of creator brands want to sponsor.
If you're a small creator, an artist, illustrator, maker or creative business owner who's wondered how to get brand deals on YouTube without a huge audience (or how to attract sponsorships without pitching), this is the breakdown.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:
If you've been working on your creative business every single week - posting, making, trying things…and still feel like nothing's actually moving forward, this video is for you. Most of the time, it's not that you're missing effort. It's that you're missing the bigger picture of how it's all meant to fit together.
In this episode, I'm walking you through the four phases of launching a creative business this year - the no-fluff roadmap of what I'd do if I was starting the whole thing over again today. It's built from everything I've learnt the hard way across two YouTube channels, one rebrand, three kids, and six years of genuinely figuring this out in real time.
Each phase builds on the last, and each one does something different for your business.

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:
If you're a creative business owner, artist, or maker who's been told to "just build multiple income streams" but nobody's actually shown you what that looks like in real life - this episode is for you!
So much of the advice around building a full-time creative business is either vague "diversify your income!" or wildly over-promised "make £7k a month passively from one digital product!". Neither of those reflects what it's actually like when you're trying to turn your content into a sustainable creative income.
In this episode, I'm walking you through the 5 income streams that content can actually build for your creative business - with honest numbers from my own experience across both of my YouTube channels. I'm covering product sales, YouTube AdSense and platform monetisation, brand partnerships, digital products, and affiliate income - and where most creators are leaving serious money on the table.
Whether you sell handmade products, run an art shop, create digital offers, or you're just starting to build content around your creative business, this video will help you see all five layers clearly so you can build the ones that actually fit your business.
This episode is perfect for:
• Creative business owners trying to go full-time
• Artists and makers who want to monetise their content
• Product-based creatives relying too heavily on art sales
• YouTubers, podcasters, and creators building a creative brand
• Anyone who wants an honest breakdown of how creators actually make money
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
• Why art sales alone almost never add up to a full-time creative income
• The 5 income streams your content can unlock (and which to prioritise for your business)
• How I monetised The Creative Juice Club in just 12 uploads
• What YouTube AdSense actually pays - with real numbers
How brand partnerships work when you don’t have loads of subscribers
Amazon Associates and affiliate commissions for creators
• How to choose affiliate programmes where the maths actually work for you
• The mindset shift from "artist who makes content" to "content creator who makes art"
• Why your content isn't just a shop window - it's a compounding, multi-layered business model

ABOUT THIS EPISODE:
If content batching has ever sounded like a good idea in theory…but never really worked in real life, this episode is for you! A lot of content batching advice isn’t made for creative business owners. It’s made for people whose full-time job is content - not people who are also designing products, packing orders, replying to customers, filming behind the scenes, and trying to keep a whole business moving.
In this episode, I’m breaking down a much more realistic way to batch content when you run a creative business. I’m sharing the 3 simple shifts that make content batching feel lighter, easier to stick to, and much more sustainable - especially if you sell products, run a handmade business, or juggle content creation alongside everything else.
Whether you’re an artist, maker, illustrator, Etsy seller, or creative entrepreneur, this video will help you build a content batching system that fits the reality of your business - without trying to batch everything, burn yourself out, or force yourself into a rigid routine that doesn’t work for you.
This episode is perfect for:
• Creative business owners who struggle to stay consistent with content
• Artists and makers who feel overwhelmed by social media
• Product-based business owners juggling content and fulfilment
• Creatives who want to batch content without burning out
• Anyone trying to create content in a more realistic and sustainable way
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
• Why most content batching advice doesn’t work for creative business owners
• Why trying to batch everything usually makes content feel harder
• How to batch content by stage instead of by platform
• How to make content batching work around the reality of your business
• Why low-energy weeks need to be part of your content system
• How to build a simpler, more sustainable content workflow
If you’ve been searching for how to batch content as a creative business owner or how to create content without burnout - this episode will give you a much more realistic way to approach it.

If you’ve ever had someone tell you they love your art… and then not buy it, this episode is for you.
A lot of artists and makers start to assume that if people aren’t buying, it must mean their work isn’t good enough. But that’s usually not the real problem. In this episode, I’m breaking down why people do buy art and creative work, why liking something doesn’t always lead to a sale, and what actually helps the right people connect with what you make.
Whether you sell art prints, stickers, stationery, handmade products, ceramics, jewellery, or illustrated gifts, this video will help you understand the psychology behind why people buy creative work - and how to position your products in a way that makes them feel more relevant, meaningful, and easier to say yes to.
This episode is perfect for:
• Artists struggling to turn interest into sales• Makers who get compliments but not many purchases• Small business owners selling handmade or illustrated products• Creatives who feel disheartened when people don’t buy• Anyone trying to understand how to sell art in a more natural way
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
• Why people buy art and creative work in the first place• Why personal taste isn’t a reflection of your worth as an artist• How to find the people most likely to connect with your work• Why people can genuinely love your art and still not buy it• How to make your creative products feel more relevant and desirable• What helps people connect emotionally to art, prints, and handmade products
If you’ve been searching for how to sell your art online, why people aren’t buying your art, how to get more art sales, how to find customers for your art, how to market handmade products, or why people love your work but don’t buy - this episode will help you understand what’s really going on.
