  • Ellie Kime on Being an Enthusiast
Back at it with another amazing guest the enthusiast herself Ellie Kime! I met Ellie at an event in London (attending events in London is a very rare occurrence for me and a massive stroke of luck in my opinion that I met Ellie at one) and I was instantly obsessed with her passion for being well... passionate! I loved recording this episode Ellie is just so much fun and we get talking about hobbies and the dangers of trying to monetise your interests. Hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording!

  • Why it's Okay to Give Up Sometimes
In this episode I examine why we hate giving up on things and what stops us from freeing up our energy from the things that aren't making us happy or serving us. Giving up can be a positive productive act that can make space for us to pursue the things we actually want to do. So I dive deep and share a personal story about a time I gave up in the hope that it will help you to decide if you need to give something up yourself so you can pursue more important things that are going to have a more positive impact on your life.

I'd love to hear your own experiences of letting go of things in your life feel free to email me [email protected] or follow me on Instagram @stationerymagpie and drop into my DMs

  • The Process Behind a Project with Sara Collins from Sister & Kin
In this episode I sat down with Sara Collins Ethical Production Consultant and the creative productive human behind the ethical fashion brand Sister and Kin.

As an ethical production consultant she knows how important it is to relax into the process of a project and take it slow - it's not exactly an industry where things happen quickly and combined with covid her project has been a long time in the making. Often when we pursue a project we focus only on the result but relaxing into the process and is a great way to take some of the stress away. Sara's calm practical approach to the process is something we can all learn from.

We also discuss the importance of building confidence so that you can embark on a big project  and trust the process and your ability to see something through to the end. If you have your own big project you're working towards I hope this episode helps you to enjoy the process and cultivate some calm.
