I thought about not posting this (because I don't want to sound negative) but I am (because this is part of the teaching experience). I document a rough afternoon and what my role is as the teacher.

I document my eighth lunch with a student and reflect on a quote from a guy named Sadhguru concerning what humans actually know in an ever expanding universe we live in.

I document some thoughts on where I'm at with building relationships this year and the need to have some community circles today in class. Also, I share an update on positive phone calls home and how awesome my lunch was today with a student.

I document a conversation I had with my oldest son when he asked what the word 'fail' meant and how it relates to what we do as teachers everyday.

I read and reflect on an article called 'Hugging A Porcupine' by educational blogger Rob Miller from viewfromtheedge.net. It's a tear-jerker...a piece that makes you think about how awesome of a job teaching can be and how hard it can be at the same time. Enjoy!
