In the seventh episode of "The Cross," Duane Sheriff explains that if we have already died with Christ, how can we be "dying daily"? Christians who have experienced His death, burial, and resurrection are new creations. We must renew our minds to fully embrace our new identity in Christ. God has put our old nature to death and raised us to new life in Him. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 states, "If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation." Instead of continually "dying daily" to sin, we need to recognize that we have already died and are resurrected with Christ.
