On the night of March 15, 2025, a group of researchers were spending the weekend at the Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky and had been weathering bad storms with flooding, hail and downed trees. As the storms subsided, the group took a drive through the park, thermal imaging devices in hand. After watching a group of coyotes hunting a deer and observing other forest animals, a large white-hot figure appeared in the forest.

The large figure stood on two legs, moved around slightly, and turned its head occasionally, and they could tell it was nothing they had ever seen before. They believe it had a body of a Bigfoot, long arms, pointed ears like a dog and a snout and a lion's mane. It may have also had children with it. After sixteen minutes of recording, the creature walked off into the woods and out of sight.

What made that heat signature is up for debate and Jessica and her remote viewing crew were tasked with this encounter as a coordinate remote viewing target. In the 1700’s, there were lots of men and not enough women in France's Louisiana territory. So, King Louis XIV sent the “Casket Girls” thousands of miles away from their homes in France and transplanted to colonial America. They were provided with husbands and tasked with taming the men and domesticating the land. After enduring a long, arduous trip by boat, the girls arrived looking unnaturally pale and sickly, with red eyes and their skin blistered in the sunlight. Most were placed into unwanted marriages where they were mistreated by their husbands and some of the unwed were forced into prostitution. Hearing of their mistreatment, the king ordered that these young women be sent back to France.

Before they were scheduled to return home, the women and their cassettes (wooden luggage chests that looked like caskets), filled with all the young women’s possessions, were taken to a room on the third floor of the Ursuline convent, which was sealed off and the windows shuttered, so it was shocking to the nuns when they went to fetch the girls and their belongings, and the luggage was found empty and the girls were gone. Fearing something supernatural was going on, the shutters were nailed shut with nails blessed by a pope. The Casket Girls themselves were rumored to be vampires and their casquettes are thought to have been their method of carrying vampires across the sea to the New World. Could this be how the legend of vampires started in America?

In 1934, two gold miners found a small, mummified specimen of a tiny human after blasting into a hidden cavern in the San Pedro Mountains of Wyoming. The men weren’t sure if the tiny body was a small adult or the remains of a child. Its body was around 14” in length, and the miners decided the enigmatic mummy could potentially be lucrative for them. “Pedro,” as he became known as, was exploited and put on display by local businesses as a part of the "Wyoming Sideshow," before its disappearance in the 1950’s.

Before his disappearance, scientific tests were done on him, but the enigma of the specimen was never truly solved. Many believed he was the only preserved example of a lost Native American pygmy race, while others maintained the mummy was, in fact, the tragic infant victim of a rare congenital disorder. The Blemmyes, also known as Sternophthalmoi or "Chest-Eyes", were a tribe of headless, men with their faces set upon their chests. The Chest-Eyes were popular in Medieval bestiaries and in the Terra Incognita illustrations of maps.

Ancient historical texts recorded their existence all over the world, from Africa to Greece and beyond. Explorers and scholars wrote of the Blemmyes, including Christopher Columbus and Herodotus. They documented what they saw with their own eyes, but somewhere down the line, these strange-looking people became merely a fairy tale.

The Loch Ness Monster is an aquatic creature reportedly inhabiting Scotland's Loch Ness, first brought to the world's attention in 1933. “Nessie,” as locals call it, believe it might be a Jurassic-era reptile like a Plesiosaur, a giant fish or even an eel. Several eyewitness accounts describe the creature as 20 to 30 feet long with the flippers of a dolphin and a long neck with a small head. Researchers who analyzed DNA samples from the icy waters of the Scottish lake identified about 3,000 different species, but the results ruled out the presence of large animals such as dinosaurs. Not only has Nessie been spotted in the lake, but some have reported seeing the creature walking on land, as far back as the 1800’s. The first account of an encounter dates back to the 7th century and continue to this day.
