Join Mike and Michael on a very special episode of Dad Men this week. Other plots of note: Betty does not like the woman her dad has been seeing, Joan's roommate and best friend Carol confides a secret in her, and Peggy deals with the ramifications of having had trysts with a jerk like Pete.

This week's Dad Break has Jallah reviewing The Quarry, a new Horror video game by Supermassive Games.

A potential advertising star is born when Jim Hobart, from McCann, gives Betty Draper a lucrative job offer. Meanwhile, Peggy is dealing with unwanted attention being given to her weight gain and Pete tells Paul to drop dead.

In this week's Dad Break, Jallah and Michael discuss Weezer's most recent SZNZ EP - “Summer.” Jallah is energized, Michael is too. They also chat about Weezer's then-upcoming Broadway residency and one of them has tickets! The other has COVID.

Correction: Michael says Rivers Cuomo is dressed up as Jesus Christ in the band's performance of “Records” on Jimmy Kimmel, but on second glance, it might be more accurate that Rivers is some sort of... Roman Soldier? Who knows?

This week's ITPNT marks the return of one of Michael's best friends: Stu Rosenberg! Stu has recently recorded multiple (great) full-length songs and Michael wanted to have him on the show to discuss his songwriting process, perfect pitch, and a few movies too. It's also a jam-packed C.O.T.O.R. (Check Out This Obscure Record) this week: Michael brought a licensed album with a Birthday anthem and Stu brought an LP which was nearly lost forever until happenstance brought it onto the silver screen. Both are wildly different releases... recorded in 1983. Enjoy the show!

On this week’s ITPNT please welcome massage therapist and pop-punk rockist Justine Potter! Justine is a longtime friend, and once Michael heard she was getting into Stephen King’s oeuvre, he knew he wanted to hear about her experience. After chatting King for a spell, Michael and Justine have a deep, thoughtful discussion on 1986’s “Stand By Me,” a genre-defining (and that genre ain’t Horror!) film inspired by a King short story.

It’s also the debut of a new segment: C.O.T.O.R - Check Out This Obscure Record! This is a segment where Michael and the guest talk about an obscure record they're excited about. This week features a punky, energetic rock group called DeeCRACKS and an alt-rock masterpiece by the band Self made with instruments you won’t believe.
