The Daily Article

Yesterday, a federal judge in Florida sided against the CDC, striking down the national mask mandate. Her ruling freed airlines, airports, and mass transit systems to make their own decisions about mask requirements. In The Daily Article for April 19, 2022, Dr. Jim Denison considers our collective trust in the government, cites Jonathan Haidt's Atlantic essay that suggests social media is undermining our democracy, and then challenges Christians to think biblically and act redemptively in response.

The flagship Russian warship Moskva sank into the Black Sea yesterday. Whether it was destroyed by a Ukrainian missile or from a fire that broke out on the cruiser, the result is the same. In The Daily Article for Good Friday, April 15, 2022, Dr. Jim Denison uses this news story and others as a foundation to ask: Why was Jesus crucified on Good Friday? Could he have died any other way and the result have been the same?
