If you’re like me, then you have a hard time thinking of others more importantly than yourself. Like all of us, you are the hero and main character of your life. We all want to be praised, recognized, and put in positions of honor and power. If someone else gets what we want, then we get angry and envious of them. Today, Pastor Mark teaches that pride and conceit are works of the flesh. That’s our natural tendency. We want to be the most important. Humility and wanting others to be honored more than ourselves is truly a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. Take your eyes off of yourself, and focus on everything Jesus has done.
