There is often more to sharing the Gospel than just the Truths of the Gospel.  The Gospel comes to bear on life in powerful ways - ways like we looked at yesterday.  Today, we go further into Jesus' model.

In our Western world, we often provide teaching to people, but we don't necessarily truly train people, especially when it comes to Great Commission evangelism and disciplemaking.  Jesus had a different approach.  Let's learn what He did.

Jesus called those initial disciples to leave behind their old lives and follow Him to bring men into the Kingdom.  When did He do this?  What may this mean to us?

As Jesus is confronted by the religious leaders in John 5, He provides 5 sources that testify to His identity.  We can be confident in who Jesus is - He IS the Messiah.  We can also be confident to share a witness about Him as the Holy Spirit enables us. 

Jesus was intentional in what He did.  Each encounter was a divine encounter.  We can learn to approach life the same way, looking for the divine encounters the Father puts before us each and every day.

Jesus was shut-down in Nazareth, so He moved to a more populace area.  John the Baptist has been arrested, and Jesus takes up John's message.  What was that message?  What lessons can we learn for our own evangelism and disciplemaking?
