The South Africa Green Hydrogen Summit builds on the opportunities identified during the Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium South Africa (SIDSSA) of 2021. South Africa is one of the founding members of the Africa Green Hydrogen Alliance (AGHA) which seeks to promote continental green hydrogen cooperation. The public sector strike has negatively impacted essential health services as government and unions have yet to reach a new service level agreement. While the Department of Health and the Department of Public Administration has called for essentials workers to not leave their posts, one of the implication is that primary healthcare is not guaranteed during the wage strike. Our next guest has raised a concerned that rural communities are completely reliant on public funded services and access to essential health care services and a protracted strike could be severely compromise their access to service delivery when it comes to essential healthcare.  Langa Mavuso is a passionate musician who has performed in various genres such as Musical Theatre, Classical Ensembles and was even part of the Fifa World Cup 2010 opening ceremony as part of the dance ensemble.

He has actively invested in honing and mastering his craft. He combines electronic hip hop beats with acoustic jazz and soul inspired vocals. He is molding a new sound era of urban soul in South Africa. Langa has worked alongside Black Coffee, Grace Carter, the Soil, Zoe Modiga, Loyiso, Aimee George, Manana and many more. Recently, he was featured in a documentary series being aired on Trace Urban reflecting on the life and times of the jazz giant, Hugh Masekela.

Focus: Yesterday (Thursday), we received a video sent by one of our listeners. It showed a young boy limping, then falls to the ground. While he was down, another boy came to finish him off using a panga and according to the voice on the video, the boy died a few minutes later. The video was accompanied by voice notes from member of the community some of them crying and highlighting the problem of gangsters in that area. To ttry and understand what is happening on the ground and how bad this problem is,
