Today we turn the focus on prostate cancer and what it is that men should know around it. Why is it so still prevalent today and at what age should men start checking it out?

Deputy Auditor-General Tsakani Maluleke says she and her team will honour the late AG Kimi Makwetu by doing their work diligently and with integrity. He passed away last week after battling cancer since 2018 and will be laid to rest tomorrow. Maluleke who is set to be the first female to head the AG’s office, was elected by Parliament unanimously last month. Group Executive for News at the SABC Phathiswa Magopeni says she will no longer be issuing retrenchment letters. This follows an urgent meeting late yesterday afternoon with newsroom employees where they expressed frustration and anger as 400 of the corporation’s employees stand to lose their jobs. The public broadcaster was planning to issue more letters to its workers by today as it seeks to reduce its staff compliment in order to save costs. Some workers have been staging lunch time pickets this week to highlight their opposition to the move. The SA National Editor's Forum says it is concerned about what is has described as instability at the SABC. Bushiri broke his silence following his unlawful departure from South Africa, further contravening his bail condition not to comment about his case. The ECG leader and his wife Marry fled to MALAWI on Wednesday. But police only became aware of their escape after the couple failed to report at a police station as per their bail conditions on Friday night. Phanuel Shuma reports...

At least 100 people, who invested thousands of their hard earned money into a get rich quick scheme, have been left high and dry and with feelings of shame and regret. This after they found the office doors of Fin Quest Holdings in Soweto closed and the owners of the scheme had disappeared with their monies. The investors include the elderly whose chronic illnesses have worsened since learning of how they've been scammed. One person has even had a stroke after discovering that they'll not be getting any returns on their investments. Our reporter Tshepo Phagane went to investigate and brought us this report…
