Women were selected to lead the new Ministry of Peace, the National Intelligence and Security Service and the Federal Police Commission. Earlier this year, Facebook announced that nearly 87-million people's personal information - including 60,000 South African users. In the same breath, Insurer Liberty Holdings could face massive fines through civil lawsuits or from a government-mandated information regulator after falling victim to a cyber-attack. All these security breaches and leakage of our personal information raises tough questions about just how safe is our personal information?

A Cape Town school has been accused of coercing a black teacher to resign. A grade five pupil at Rustenburg Girls' Junior School, asked a parent whether black teachers real teachers? The school is accused of constructively dismissing Nozipho Mthembu‚ a teacher and also an ex-pupil at the school, by coercing her to resign. The school is now facing allegations of racism.
