The Institute for Dispute Resolution in Africa (IDRA) in the College of Law at the University of South Africa (UNISA) hosted a Community Indaba/Conference yesterday under the theme: Dagga, Culture, Spirituality and the Colonial Law in Africa” The purpose of this Community Indaba on Dagga was to unearth the wealth of community knowledge, formal knowledge and to discover a holistic view based on the recent South African Constitutional Court judgment on decriminalization and the private use of cannabis/dagga in South Africa.

But many people today still also face discrimination on the basis of their disability. But many times when the debate around transformation comes up, exclusion of the disabled, particularly in the workplace and in education, hardly forms part of those discussions.
