The Ministry of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs has denied reports that task team investigating political killings in KwaZulu-Natal raided the Willowfountain home of Minister Zweli Mkhize. Ministry Spokesperson, Musa Zondi says the raid was aimed at a security guard at Mkhize's home, who has since been arrested according to reports. Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape has officially been renamed to Makhanda. In June this year, Arts and Culture Minister, Nathi Mthethwa announced a name change for Grahamstown in the Government Gazette. There have been 332 objections to the name change. Minister Mthethwa made a final determination on the name change last week Tuesday.
