We represent, everybody who was born in Western Cape pre 1994, colour doesn’t matter. According to them, Demographics should not be implemented, “it’s hurting us”. “They say houses shouldn’t be given to only black people, everything we are saying is being lost in translation, because people are bringing up race. In a statement, from the Senior Executive Team of Wits University to the Universities’ Colleagues and Students, Wits said “the designation of students on the University’s student systems will no longer reflect titles such as Mr, Ms, or Mrs, etc. as from 16 July 2018. “The statement further states that “This decision affirms those who are transgender, non-binary or gender non-conforming within the University community, who wish to hold a title that affirms their identity. The University recognizes that it is invalidating and distressing for a person who, for an example, was assigned female at birth but identifies as male to be constantly addressed by a non-affirming title in University correspondence and systems.”

Post the 8th Provincial Elective Conference of the ANC in KwaZulu-Natal – we look at the influence of the ANC Youth League in the province. The young lions wanted to entrench a "generational-mix" concept and their wish was granted judging by the outcome of the conference.

The ANC on Wednesday confirmed the arrest of one of its employees allegedly involved in "serious crimes". This comes after Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba made a claim that one of the suspects arrested in a recent cash-in-transit heist in Dobsonville. Mayor Mashaba also claims that 2 ANC ministers are also involved in serious crimes.

The Black Imbizo, a dialogue platform for Africans to engage on issues affecting Africans, is set to take place at the Newtown Cultural Precinct, in Johannesburg, tomorrow (Saturday). The Black Imbizo is a movement based on love and the restoration of African dignity.
