Last week Taxify app-based driver Siyabonga Ngcobo’s charred body was found in the boot of a burnt car close to the Unisa Sunnyside Campus on Thursday night. His colleagues believe it’s a murder that was carried out by rival metered taxi drivers. The ongoing rivalry between Johannesburg meter taxi drivers and Uber operators has been going on since 2016. This morning we ask both parties involved, what needs to happen for it to come to an end?
