The repatriation of eight Zimbabwean children who are being kept at a place of safety in Rustenburg in the North West is set to take place on Tuesday. The children aged between two and 14 were found undocumented in a truck in Rustenburg last November. It is believed they were travelling to Cape Town to visit their parents for the Christmas holidays. We look at the decision to repatriate the children, and ask could more have been done? What happens now for the children when they arrive in Zimbabwe?
