Free speech is one of our most important rights and one of the most misunderstood - and one thing we often forget is that it comes with responsibilities. Joining us to tackle this complex and controversial subject is Mr Flemming Rose. During his tenure as culture editor of the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, Rose was principally responsible for the September 2005 publication of the cartoons that initiated the Muhammad cartoons global controversy in early 2006. Since then, he has been an international advocate for freedom of speech and is the author of several books, including The Tyranny of Silence that the Economist in 2014 named one of the 10 best non-fiction books of the year.
