Beyond Resources Abundance (John 6:1–15). Jesus stumps the disciples when he asked what resources to remedy a hungry crowd. When does God call you to do something beyond your resources? What can God do with meager offerings? All had an over abundance so they all had enough.

Salvation Admissible Testimony (John 5:30–47). Do you judge Jesus rightly? Consider the evidence and testimony of John the Baptist, the works of Jesus, Moses and Scripture and God the Father himself. Do you seek the real glory of God or praise of the World? Accept the testimony that you may be saved.

Hearing Dead Crossover (John 5:18–29). If the Son can do nothing by himself, what can you do by yourself? Just like the Father, the Son raises the dead and gives them life. Whoever hears the Word crosses over from death to real life. Hear his voice and get out of your grave!

Spiritually Lame Healing? (John 5:1–18). When asked, “Do you want to get well?” the lame man just sputters explanations and excuses. Jesus gives an odd prescription, “Pick up your mat.” How often are we healed by the Word of grace by eagerly return to the Law.

Sham Worship Confrontation (John 4:16–26). When the Word brings up things you don’t talk about you are being given a mirror to see your true need. Not an issue if you see the prophet, question is will you listen? True worship of the Father is through the Spirit and the One who is Truth.
