Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Today, you have received an invitation. The invitation is delivered by Jesus, and it requests your presence before the King of glory.

Where many would come before the King in fear and trembling, you can go before Him boldly. This promise invites you to come before God with confidence. The word "confidence" here means to speak freely. You come before God and speak openly with Him.

Hebrews 4:16 - - -

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. - Romans 8:28

Every day, God is working in your life. You may not see it, or you may not even believe it, but God is working behind the scenes to bring about good. Paul began the verse by saying he was absolutely convinced of this fact.

This promise doesn't guarantee that God will eliminate every issue or problem that you comes your way. We live in a fallen world, and sometimes bad things happen to good people. Life can be hard at times, and sometimes the answers are just out of reach. At times it may be hard to see God's hand at work, but trust me even right this moment, God is working in your life.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. - Romans 8:28

Every day, God is working in your life. You may not see it, or you may not even believe it, but God is working behind the scenes to bring about good. Paul began the verse by saying he was absolutely convinced of this fact.

Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. - Isaiah 43:19

The God you serve is the God of new beginnings. He created our world where a new day begins every 24 hours, and every 365 days a new year begins.

As you celebrate the beginning of a new year and a new decade. God wants to do something new in you.

New beginnings remind us to leave behind the past and move forward to what God has before us. No matter what 2019 was like for you, 2020 gives you the opportunity to start anew.

As you enter this new decade, what are you asking from God? What are you seeking that you haven't sought before? What are you stepping out in faith to see that you haven't experienced before?

The God of new beginnings wants to do a new thing in your life in 2020.

As you celebrate the beginning of a new year and a new decade. God wants to do something new in you. 

New beginnings remind us to leave behind the past and move forward to what God has before us. No matter what 2019 was like for you, 2020 gives you the opportunity to start anew.

As you enter this new decade, what are you asking from God? What are you seeking that you haven’t sought before? What are you stepping out in faith to see that you haven’t experienced before?

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19

Maybe you feel like you just don't have enough money to get through the month. Are you filled with fear or worry as you think about everything that is coming your way over the next few days? Do you need wisdom or direction regarding a major upcoming decision?

We have all been there. We've all had times when we felt like we just couldn't make it.

I have good news for you! The God you serve is meeting your every need in Christ Jesus. He has promised to meet every need that comes into your life.

Philippians 4:19
