Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives.
On Monday, we saw how God had a plan to redeem and restore His people from the moment sin entered into the world. - Isa. 9:6
On Tuesday we saw how Jesus came in the flesh. He was all God and all man wrapped up in one person. Because He walked on this earth, He understands our weaknesses and pain.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. - John 1:14
Midway through the week, we saw how God was able to use Mary because she had a submissive heart toward God. God can use you and me as we give our lives full for His use.
And Mary said, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her. - Luke 1:38
On Thursday we looked at the Wise Men and their seeking after the Christ child. When we learn to seek Christ with all our heart, we will find Him.
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him." - Matthew 2:1-2
We ended the week seeing how Jesus is our Wonderful Counselor. He is the mighty One who has need of nothing. He brings wisdom, counsel, and guidance to all who follow Him.
For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. - Isaiah 9:6
That's it for this week. I hope these 5 promises have been a blessing to you. Tomorrow is the Lord's day, so I hope you will be in church, worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.
