Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 5:1

When you came to Christ, your sin was justified. A preacher friend used to say "justified means just-as-if-I'd never sinned." Now you have peace with God. That peace flows over into every area of your life. In John 14:27, Jesus promised His supernatural peace to those who followed Him. You have peace with your past because Jesus had forgiven your sin. You have peace with your failures because God doesn't hold your sin against you.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 5:1

If you are struggling today, remember, through faith in Christ, you have peace with God, and the promise of peace is every area of your life.

God doesn't hide from you. He isn't avoiding you. He desires to be found by you. Here is the heart of this promise; seeking God always results in finding Him. No matter where you are in your walk with God, there is more to be discovered.

Here's the promise.

Jeremiah 29:13 (ESV) - You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

God doesn’t hide from you. He isn’t avoiding you. He desires to be found by you. Here is the heart of this promise; seeking God always results in finding Him. No matter where you are in your walk with God, there is more to be discovered.

When you pray, God listens. He not only listens, but he is delighted to hear your prayers.

A grandfather takes great delight when his grandchild climbs up in his lap. He is ready to listen to anything his grandchild says. God is like that grandfather. He invites you to climb up in His lap and tell Him what is on your heart.

God delights in hearing you today. God wants you to come before Him and bring your needs, prayers, and concerns.

When you pray, God listens. He not only listens, but he is delighted to hear your prayers.

Do you see God as your Father or your boss? Today's promise gives you the answer.

So many Christians think salvation comes with a job description. Sure God saved you by grace, but there is a lot of work to be done to live up to that grace. They spend their life trying to please God by keeping a set of rules that either they create or someone created for them.

Christianity is Jesus plus nothing. In the Apostle Paul's day, some taught you had to follow all the Jewish laws and Jesus. Today the church still suffers from a "Jesus plus" mentality.
