Before you came to Christ, the Bible says the world has blinded you to God's love and goodness. You couldn't see or understand spiritual truth. The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that your eyes were blinded by the world around you.

When God began working in your life, He opened your eyes to His love for you. When you came to Christ, He gave you the ability to understand spiritual truth. Today, He continues to enlighten you to His love and all He has for you.

Second, He instructs His disciples to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Finally, He makes the promise we focus on today. "I am with you always."

This promise begins with an invitation. God invites you to come to Him with your sin. When you sin, the last person you want to talk to is God. So often, when you sin, you hide from God. You feel guilty and shameful and are afraid to come before Him. Even in your sin, He invites you to come and sit before for Him.

Stop and think about this for a moment. Right now, God is thinking about you. You have His attention. He is pouring his love over you as he thinks about you. You can never comprehend the number of precious thoughts He has toward you.
