  • Hope Brings Overflowing Joy

    Today's Promise: Proverbs 10:28

How you view the future affects how you live today. As a Christian, you have a hope that stretches beyond tomorrow and into eternity.

When you have no hope, you quickly fall into despair. Without hope, you have little to live for. When you lose hope, you lose everything. Without hope, everything in life fades to a dull gray.

You have hope because you know God is in control. Life is not an accident. God has a wonderful plan for your life.

Joy fills your life as you place your hope and trust in Christ.

  • God Gives You a New Heart

    Today's Promise: Ezekiel 36:26-27

When you came to Christ, God gave you a new heart. He didn't repair your heart; He did a heart transplant. God took your old heart that was cold and hard and replaced it with a new soft heart. He filled this new heart with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowered you to hear His voice and obey His word.

Just like your physical heart, you must take good care of your spiritual heart. If your heart has grown cold, God wants to soften your heart through the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • God Hears and Answer Your Prayers

    Today's Promise: 1 John 5:14-15

Today's episode is all about God hearing and answering our prayers.

Jesus had absolute confidence that God heard His prayers. Because you are His follower, you can have that same confidence.

God hearing your prayer is more than God just acknowledging your request. You know that when God hears your prayer, He answers. It is like the King who listens to the request of his servant and responds. When God hears your prayer, He answers your prayer.

You pray according to His will when you pray according to His Word.

  • God Gives Wisdom Freely

    Today's Promise: James 1:5

There is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is all about the facts; wisdom is about what you do with the facts. Wisdom is about how you live and the choices you make.

Our world is drowning in knowledge. You can find the answer to almost any question or problem in the palm of your hand.

We know more, but are we living any better? Are we making better choices? Are we living wisely?

God's wisdom helps you understand the world around you so you can live successfully.

  • God's Present is Always With You

    Today's Promise: Psalm 139:7-10

You are never alone. You may feel lonely at times, but God's presence is always with you.

You can never escape the presence of God. If you go to the highest mountain or submerge in the lowest depths of the sea, God's presence will still be there.

If you traveled from east to west at the speed of light, when you arrived, you would find God already there.

No matter where you go, your Heavenly Father has promised to be with you. He will guide and lead you by the hand.

  • You are God's Temple

    Today's Promise: 1 Corinthians 3:16

You are a temple of God.

In the Old Testament, God dwelt in the temple at Jerusalem. The temple was an icon of God's presence.

When Jesus left, He promised to send the Holy Spirit to dwell in those who followed Him. God's presence would move from the temple to the hearts of Christians.

As His temple, you are a house of worship. Every area of your life should bring glory and honor to Christ.
