On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by Danny Kelly, The Ringer, who is in Indianapolis covering the NFL combine and John Canzano from John Canzano.com, who has breaking news on a grant of rights deal signed by Washington State and Oregon State and how much power they have in the new Pac-12.  Lastly, Puck wraps up the show with thoughts on Julio Rodriguez and the need for a fast start to the season. 

Puck opens up the show discussing Cam Ward going number-one overall in the NFL draft and he explains that there still must be questions about his leadership because there were many questions while he was at Washington State.  Puck briefly touches in on the Mariners and their need to get off to a better start to the season. 

(14:47) -  Danny Kelly, The Ringer, joins Puck from the NFL combine where they discuss, “Glazing” Cam Ward, John Schneider and Mike Macdonald talking to Pete Carroll on the airplane to Indy, the importance of the NFL combine and what the top storylines are this week. 

(43:55) - John Canzano, JohnCanzano.com, tells Puck the news that WSU and Oregon State will have final say on all Pac-12 matters when it comes to expansion, media rights and Pac-12 enterprises.  They also discuss the comments made by the San Diego State AD on the impending media rights deal and adding more members.  Also, Fresno State is once again wrapped up in a gabling probe and what ramifications does it have for the Pac-12 and the future of gambling and college athletics.
