The Daily Truth with Anthony Russo

Kelly gave me "Strength for Today for Men," for Christmas and its message last week regarding the way we view God. This message was to starting thinking of the all powerful as our father and it gives a different perspective to how we live life.

If you're not making any mistakes then you're not learning. Using a lesson from my good friend Tim Klund, AKA Tim Klund that I saved his facebook post from a couple months ago. People can change, people can improve and there are some Proverbs I'll be dropping today.

Chapelle's "The Dreamer," was not his best work... but it shows you how if you've built a body of work in life, anything you do will be well received, and it also gives you the right to have your own soapbox to views in life. This hour Netfix special from Chapelle was more of a motivational pep talk with some comedy than anything else... but when you're the GOAT you've earned the right to do whatever you want. Thats the lesson, and thats the truth.

Today's Daily Truth is two pronged. NIL and the transfer portal are causing ISSUES in College Football to the point where the bowl games are a MESS... except the Semi Final's which actually has a different interesting side plot. Alabama vs. Michigan was not just Alabama vs. Michigan it was SEC vs Big 10 and in the end, for my intrigue Fox vs. ESPN.

Look, if you don't want to have a pet for it's whole life, no matter what... DON'T GET A PET... DON'T. Todays daily truth in 5 minutes or less is just a little rant about all the pages I see where people are giving up their animals because of basic life changes. I just don't understand people, but et this serve as a PSA as people just got pets for the holiday... if you're not going to keep it, take it back or rehome it NOW while it's still a puppy or kitten and easier to adopt out.

I think everyone is sick of the whole "New Year, New Me" crap. How about take control of what's in front of you and just go get it. If it's your work life, go get it. If it's your health, go get it. Ultimately I saw a post that resonated with me from a guy known as Kyle Creek (@sgrstk) that said, instead of New Year's resolutions, let's have some New Year's realizations. Because nothing you attempt to change is going to stick if you remain stuck in your same old BS.
Take these truth's with you into the New Year!

In today's daily truth, I took a side bar, because it seems people get all up in the feels when it comes to the vessel and not the message. Lots of people jumped on my message the other day surrounding Joel Olsteen, not because they disliked the message, but because they disliked the person that triggered this truth talk. We need to stop ALWAYS JUDGING the mouth words and messages come from and understand no one is perfect, and sometimes that negative thought is keeping you from a message you need to hear!

Today's truth is about my revelation that there were NO nikes at the gym the other day and all I saw was On's, Hoka's and other more "boutique" brand shoes. This should tell you that anyone with a brand can compete against the big dog with a plan, a great product, solid marketing and patience. Don't be daunted that there isn't a place for your business or your dream.
Also remember you need to stay fresh in your business otherwise you'll become "Blockbuster."
Don't become blockbuster.

Todays truth in 5 minutes or less is inspired by Joel Olsteen's Christmas Eve message that perfectly fits everything I talk about on a daily basis. The idea that every setback is there for a purpose. With the right mentality, God is using all of these "mistakes," and bad situations for a greater purpose. Joel uses the story of Joseph and how the trials and tribulations he went through were all for a far grander purpose when he served as the prime minister of Egypt.
This is a perfect mirror of my concept of doubling down and overcoming failure. Part of my speaking always talks about realizing that successful people always believe everything happens for a reason. Let the guiding light of God or the Universe be that spiritual fulfilment you need when you go through heck to realize every bad situation is there to put you where you need to be, part of the bigger plan!
