There was a show I watched where a white dude went to a black barbershop and had a conversation about politics and belief systems and they had an interesting conversation about suicide and how it's far worse for white males than any other group. It was an interesting to way to look at how live struggle and privilege play a role in those that end up taking their life.
This of course does not include the epidemic in the military.

Today's Truth - There is nothing worse than when "thought leaders" or anyone for that matter when they simply just wont let go of their cognitive dissonance and even when proven wrong wont admit it. So today's truth is me voicing a grievance when someone wont admit the truth. There are few traits uglier than this lack of humility or logic and reason.

So today I explain a very basic online viral math problem from a couple years ago ... math is math. You can't change things because you don't understand the math.
This one was just a little fun for me, but in all reality, he used the excuse that the store and the register are two different things -- they are, but the loss is the same. I'm a math nerd, and I'm an accountability junkie so seeing someone that is a self proclaimed, "thought leader" to show this level of idiocy needs to be called out. I gave him 10 days and multiple chances to admit he was mistaken.
It wasn't in my plan to make this video, but in doing this for a calendar year... sometimes fun videos like this will come up. =)

This message may lean more towards the questions, but I have to ask... if we have faith in the word of God, from a book that has some pretty fantastical qualities, how is it that we don't have faith in ourselves? If we believe in scripture, which takes a leap of faith, and God created us, why do we not have the same leap of faith in our abilities and what life has in store for us.

This past weekend, in one of the "tryout rooms," one of the people trying out figured out that the person judging was someone that had an amazing impact on his life when he was younger, which helped him become a first responder. I can't stress how important it is... put money out there, to make sure you commit yourself. Nothing commits you as much as tying it finances. Promise you that.
